My son almost had a 1400 score for his SAT. It was his first time taking as a junior. Shahin helped him, and she was devoted , knowledgable, and easy to talk to . Location is great, easy to park or to drop off/pick up. Highly recommended!

My daughter attended approximately 3 weeks of the full day summer camp following her 4th grade school year. She enjoyed learning from the tutors. Study Dorm is great! My son was struggling in Pre-AP Algebra II so we signed him up for tutoring. In just two sessions he was able to raise his average in the class by 10 points. The tutor asks him questions to confirm his understanding and that is really helping him learn the material. So glad we found Study Dorm!

The best tutor ever! I came to Study Dorm after taking my first graduate level statistics class because I knew I needed help. If it wasn't for Sha I would have never passed this class and I even got a B! She was so patient with me even explaining things over and over, if necessary. She was also very flexible and able to accommodate my scheduling needs. I was so happy with the results I began sending my 8th grade son immediately as he struggled with Math last few years. Ever since elementary school, Mathematics was never my daughter's strongest subject. Over the years we attempted to work with various tutors, never keeping a permanent one due to the fact my daughter was not improving in the class. Study dorm is by far the best Math tutoring in Houston. I came to Houston with the purpose of getting into graduate school for Biomedical Science. I struggled with basic math concepts because I had been removed from undergrad for over three years. The staff was excellent in preparing me for my GRE, they went above and beyond my expectations at an affordable rate. I was accepted to the program that I applied to and feel grateful for the opportunity that was granted to me because of Study dorm. If you're looking to prepare for a standardized test or want your child to do well in any math subject this is the place to go! Although, I no longer reside in the Houston area, I will always recommend this place to locals or natives of the Houston area. Thank you Study dorm!

I've looked into a lot of academies and tutoring options and I have to say that the Study Dorm ran by Mrs. Sha is by far the best! She shows much dedication, passion, and extends herself continuously to make certain that the students are excelling. I love their group tutoring approach equipped with their own curriculum. It's providing both my children with specific skill support and enrichment they need. The instructors are fabulous-can't say enough about them...my children love going to Study Dorm. The tutors know exactly where my child was lacking. My older one who was an average student is now an honor student taking challenging classes in high school and Study Dorm contributed to making that happen. He is now preparing for the ACT/SAT and I am confident that they will prepare well for the test.

The way that math is taught today in schools makes it difficult for parents to help with homework at home - the concepts are taught differently than when we grew up. Mrs. Sha communicates with parents to ensure parents, students and tutors are all on the same page.

Overall, I am truly thankful to Mrs. Sha and the Study Dorm tutors for helping my son excel in his academics. Highly recommended!
