The first time I heard about Stream was back in June of 2020. I was currently homeschooling both of my kids and was looking for a coop. I met with Ms Tammy and right away I knew it was a great fit. You can tell that she truly cared for kids. She had such a magic with children in getting them to love learning. We continued on with the coop until February of 2023 then enrolled them full time for the home school curriculum. My kids looked forward to going to school everyday. Ms Tammy told me about how she was expanding and let me know of the new larger facility formerly known as St Irene's in Warrenville. At the time I thought it was a great move until we found out the school was changing owner's. January 2024 was when the transition began and soon it just became a nightmare as there was absolutely no structure or discipline. Let me emphasize this was not in Tammy's control anymore as the new owner's completely cut her out and wouldn't take any advise. The kids were allowed to leave the classroom at any time. The drama and bullying was prominent as well with no solution every time I would address it. The classrooms were a pig sty. The kids were not set up for success. The school was a glorified day care. There was no communication as to the kids progress. Every time I would ask there was no feedback.
If you are looking for a school with structure and strong academics, look elsewhere.
We found an amazing school with strong academics and structure. Absolutely no drama or bullying. It was an adjustment in the beginning but my kids love the school and are so happy we didn't reenroll and Stream as they realize that Stream was not going to set them up for success.

My daughter absolutely loved attending stream. She had the time of her life, made so many friends and grew so much in her time there. Tammy and all the teachers are wonderful and care so much about the children. The classes, groups, topics and lessons are truly so cool and fun and imaginative. Your child's creativity, joy for learning, and confidence will soar. Tammy takes the time to learn each child's strength and what makes them unique and I think that is so amazing.

STREAM is a wonderful place for kids to grow and learn. Last year I was looking for schools for my daughter to attend. My daughter's mental health was going down the tubes. She would come home and say things like I'm a bad kid, I'm an ugly kid, and claimed that she had no friends and hated school. She was 7 years old when she started saying these things. She was constantly deflated from her day. We later found out that she was being physically bullied by 4 boys older than her at school. It was communicated to the school and nothing changed. I found STREAM through a close friend a few weeks before the school year started. I pulled my daughter out of the school she was going to attend that fall and enrolled her in STREAM. Tammy and staff have been absolutely amazing to my daughter. My daughters self esteem is repaired. They uplifted my child and facilitated her gifts as a leader. She loves going to STREAM and loves learning. She communicates that she has friends. STREAM has been an amazing place for my daughter to grow and learn!!!

I had the pleasure of getting the opportunity to be an intern and a teacher at STREAM for a short time. The teachers there are all incredible people who care greatly for the students and are engaging and intentional in both their teaching and their club activities. Tammy runs STREAM in a way that is student focused in a creative and adaptable environment. In my time there I heard many say what an amazing principal she was to work for and see her teaching in action. She encourages teachers to be growing and develop teaching goals to work towards. STREAM is an amazing educational place for children to learn and grow and I am so thankful for all that they were able to teach me in my time there.

I can’t be happier for my kids being at STREAM! Tammy and all the teachers are amazing. Kids are learning while having fun, they made friends the very first day! I’m driving 40 minutes there every day but it’s worth it. Thank you guys for everything you do for our kids ❤️

Tammy and her staff at STREAM have taught, cared for and elevated my son to an academic height I never thought was possible.
The teachers at STREAM capture my child’s strengths and integrate them into the fundamentals that are so important but can fall flat at other schools.
My son is excited to go to STREAM- he is up and out the door in the morning so he can get to History class early!

My daughter has been with Ms.Tammy since the beginning and we could imagine life without STREAM. I highly recommend STREAM if you are looking for a public school alternative or if you homeschool like we do check out the homeschool clubs.
