It's a Nice clean
Library It has different rooms and areas for all ages so if you have kids you can take them and they won't be in the same area as the adults. In the kids area they have toys where kids can play crayones to color and have activities mostly every day and they also can get prizes for doing scavenger hunts every month. They have a teenager area where they can play videogames. The adult area is located in another room where you can print and scan it's 10 cents and they also have cool activities for adults not only for kids. You can get your library card and you can check out book and more things out.

Today the Stickney Library had a 1 hour Jazz Event to conclude their winter reading program. The musical artists were: Jahari Stampley - Pianist/Keyboard (all I can say is WOW! Also check out his Amazing Grace you tube video, simply beautiful), Bobby Wonderfull - Singer/Trumpeter (smooth horn & beautiful voice) & Alysha Monique - Jazz Singer (powerfully joyful voice).

We found it enjoyable as they honored Jazz artists past including the Great Ella Fitzgerald. We really enjoyed this program & always look forward to them. Thank you Stickney Library for hosting this event & a huge thank you to Alysha, Bobby & Jahari for sharing their gifts w/us all, hope to see them again.

Saw online how the director harassed member of the public and kept invading his personal space, following the member of the public creepily around the library guys name was Laton shell or something like that he needs to be fired immediately as it is scary how he may behave around minors especially if no cameras were present. Be careful and avoid this place

Good place to get books, but not to study. I can't wrap my head around the study rooms being seperated by glass. It defeats the whole purpose, and the only other room they have is for high schoolers. You can also hear everything going on in the other one if there were anyone there. Overall, not a good place to study, Berwyn library is better in that aspect.

Such a wonderful local library to Stickney Residents. I went to Edison school and frequented this library in my elementary days. I recently returned, almost 20 years later, with my son for story time. It was a great experience with the staff and the activities provided, for free, for local kids in the area. Lots of memories here. A great place to bring your child or to find a quiet place to unwind with a book.

This library is great and so is the staff, especially the director. It’s so sad that a bunch of people who don’t even live in Illinois and who have never even been to the library or met the director are trying to make him and library look bad. And this is all because a rude, lonely, man-child felt his rights were being violated because he was asked to stop filming in the teen library (such and inappropriate place the film) and the then threw a temper tantrum. Why does an ADULT man feel the need to film in a teen library anyway? Pretty gross, if you ask me. Thank you to the director for keeping any possible teens safe from being filmed and put on the internet without their consent. First Amendment auditors are just sad little people who need to get a new hobby and stop trying to film teens.

We love this library. They finally started to do a Spanish story time and so far it has been great. Definitely recommend it for any parent with toddlers.
