Sterling High School has had a 'Sterling' history and it shows in the student body, staff, and community involvement. Recent years have seen the addition of building, facelifts, track and field makeover, new tennis courts and many more program enhancements. The addition of a professional, 850 seat auditorium, in 1999 and the remodeling of the historic 4th avenue drive-through arch into an open, airy atrium welcomed the public to a comfortable setting for the school district's many school events; concerts, orchestra, plays, and special events.

Considering a move to Sterling with a job change or retirement? The high school is just one part of this community with great parks, shopping, outdoor band concerts and free movies in the park, local Community General Hospital and regional Trama Center and many more hidden gems.
