Definitely stop for a bite here if you're ever in the Stocton, IL area. Stopped for breakfast on our way back home from Dubuque. I have to say this was one of the best meals I've had in awhile. Corned Beef hash was homemade and over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Also, had the breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy. All outstanding.

Stopped here on the way home from chestnut and MY GOD it was delicious. Honestly probably my favorite breakfast to date. The macchiato was amazing, the avocado toast was to die for (I added sausage) the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend stopping in

Great food. Awesome Sunday breakfast. Two year's in a row! Still great. I recommend the flank steak and eggs. Scouts liked the scrambled eggs, hash browns , hot cakes and sausage. Got chocolate is tasty after a cold camping weekend. Bathroom is spotless just like last year. Service excellent and attentive. The 1890s tin tray ceiling is gorgeous. Great place for family and friends.

The best breakfast place around!
Real homemade food, friendly service. If you are within 50 miles you have to stop and try it.
Stopped in again today 6/2/24 and breakfast was amazing!

Sunday morning brunch - quaint, neat place for breakfast. Food is good. Omelette made to order; you pick your ingredients. Even has a neat bookshelf if you want to read.

It's a regular stop. If you understand earthy, stick to your ribs, home cooking, Stella's is the spot. The young lady who cooks, cleans, serves, and smiles everything every time I've eaten there should truly have her name on the door. I thought she was Stella. I've never been disappointed. The hobo hash breakfast with eggs, add sausage gravy and rye toast (with her dollop of sour cream) is superb. And the breakfast potatoes are phenomenal. The soup and sammy are always superb. The homemade desserts are just phenomenal...apple crisp...yes please.

I'm not even a meatloaf fan but GOOD WHATEVER GOD YOU PRAY TO AND OH LORD OF WHATEVER...JUST GET IN MY BELLY!!! It was the special today and it's just fantastic! The homemade mashed potatoes...just all so flipping good. If you pass through Stockton as I frequently do, STELLA'S is a wonderful, home cooked option. Limited menu with fantastic options and daily homemade specials!! Like I did my first time last year...walk in, stomp your feet and yell "STEEEEEELLLLAAA"...the locals will laugh their butts off...or think you're nuts.
