My son has been a student at starworld academy for about 3 years now. The instructors do an amazing job at keeping the classes fun for the kids, while at the same time teaching them discipline and respect. Of course - my son has matured over the years from the toddler he was when he first started.. but he has also learned to come out of his shell, make new friends, and learn new skills that we know he’ll use in his day to day life for years to come. Thank you for all that you continue to do for him and our family!

Very organized center for learning karate. The instructors are very patient and respectful with the kids. We noticed results with our daughter within weeks, instilling discipline and respect. We really enjoy the program and our daughter will continue to attend for years to come.

My child absolutely loves going to Starworld Academy in SV! She has learned so much discipline and respect and the instructors do such a good job of keeping it structured, but also keeping it fun and interactive for the kids! Mr. and Mrs. T, Mr. S, and all of the other instructors have been so welcoming since Day 1! We also love all the side events they do during the holidays and throughout the year like Glow Chuck Night!

My little sister has been going for 3 months now and we absolutely love it! Our mom is disabled so I have to take my sister and help with payments and bring my two kids with me alot. Everyone is super understanding and helpful about our situation and we adjust absolutely love it! My sister is doing great and improving on many areas, more than just her lessons each week but at home as well. Star world has really helped improve our lives in many ways ❤️

My daughter Ali started in Tang Soo Do last October she has gone up one belt and about to go up this month for another one. She has done better in school and more respectful at home. She is getting her priorities figured out and in order. I love that they the Doja doesn't just teach and give out the belts the students have to bring in weekly reports from school and parents,they are to write reports and show up for class in a clean taken care of ( uniform) not sure on correct name. I also started taking Qigong I' ve bee going a little over a month I am on oxygen and have been able to go from four litters down to a two. It gets me out of the house and I feel more alive. The owners and other black belts they all make you feel like family.

My child attended Starworld Academy for almost a year, she really enjoyed it and did well until she just lost interest and wanted a break til she felt like starting again. It was very difficult canceling considering my child was there past the 6 month contract that was signed. I called trying to get an explanation a month prior to getting an answer regarding cancelling getting a call back almost a month later (despite my child not going that entire time) I faced a hard time explaining that my seven year old simply does not want to go anymore. I came in to formally cancel with the owner and they still expected a payment of $150 even though we were over the contract and didn’t receive any services for over a month my family tried to settle with paying half that amount and the least the company would settle for was $100 because “they need to pay the light bill” which I don’t understand is my problem how is a customer who is no longer attending responsible for a company’s bills. The process of cancelling was just very unpleasant. Which is a shame when you would’ve probably brought your child back if the process was nicer. I was faced with shameful comments of being the reason my child no longer wanted to go but now for this reason we will not be coming back.

During class, they were great. When it came time to cancel membership, not so much. There was no call-back when we called to cancel (30 days is the policy, that's "written on the wall"), then there was just simply no answer. "It's just one more payment of $150... no big deal"
We were then told that kids sometimes want to quit because they play off parents stress... which is not the case at all. Smiling faces don't make up for bad business, and please, leave the psychology to the experts.
