Starting Hearts started eight years ago by Lynn Blake, a Sudden Cardiac Arrest survivor.
Her mission was to "Save More Lives".
From a humble beginning of herself and a couple of friends, the program and grown to a small staff of five people and a half a dozen CPR instructors.
Over the past couple of years they trained over 14,000 people just in Eagle County.
Starting Hearts has developed partnerships, including but not limited to Vail Health, that has enabled them to place dozens of AED's (Defibrillators) in "public access locations" accessible to the general public in dozens of locations and now manage the AED's in almost every State and local government facilities, Recreation Districts, multiple hotels, retail establishments and allied health facilities.
An Amazing list of accomplishments!
