My mother is a resident at a skilled nursing facility within the parish limits of St. Lawrence. It has been impossible to get a priest or a minister of the Eucharist to bring communion to her and the other residents who are Catholic (80% of the resident population) during holidays i.e. Christmas and Holy Week. The nursing home staff has made numerous attempts to arrange communion at the facility but there is no accommodation made for the nursing home. Many of us who have loved ones at the facility are very concerned about this lack of compassion to a vulnerable group.

Jesus said "whatsoever you do to the least of these you do unto me." I hope that someone can get to the facility with communion for this Holy Week. I know that several requests and calls have been made to the church office. I understand that the church has many people within the parish limits but I hope that they can give 20 minutes over their ministry time to the elderly.

Been a life long member (76yrs). Fr Andrew and Fr Bob are the best! Office staff is great and music is wonderful. Parishioners are very friendly.

I've been a member of St. Laurence nearly my whole life. Truly great people. Come visit us. Our Guitar choir is quite good. Sorry I'm a little biased...I've been singing in the choir for over 20 years.
