Beautiful church, but the school has problems. Racist writings on the bathroom walls last year, a child of a faculty member put his hands on another child in a hostile manner and school would not do anything about it, , assistant principal fired last year, principal let go or resigned (school will not say which) just happened. Im conflicted about this because I have met so many kind and incredible people that work at the school. But i get the sense that behind the scenes there's big drama. I don't want to take my 2 nd grader out . Hoping things improve and they get a strong principal in there.

My first time for their 5 pm Sunday Mass. Ot's always a good experience, except this time the singing wasn't very helpful (a terrible use of O Come, O Come Emmanuel for the acclamation, and a song whose range only females could reach). That said, the Advent atmosphere was simple and fitting. As always, the liturgy is well prepared.

You feel at HOME in this beautiful church!! Meet so many nice people and the Ushers Great place..Oh a special thanks to our Pastor and my friend Deacon Rick, who I known for EVER!!! THEY WELCOME US WITH OPEN ARMS!!! GOD BLESS 🙏👍💪 STAY HEALTHY AND SAFE!!!

Even within the Chicago suburbs (well known for hideous Catholic Church design) this church stands alone in its attempt to make a low church Presbyterian seem like the Vatican. NOTHING in the Council documents called for this level of bareness and minimalism.

We were just passing through and joined this lovely community for mass. Great mass availability and my 7 year old got to participate in the children’s liturgy during mass. Thank you all and God bless you.

My love for my parish & the accepting feeling of who we are is unique to us at SJC. Friends at other Parishes express they don’t, have the same feelings. Our servers @ mass are like seeing friends each week. I, unfortunately, am not yet able to walk to communion, i our ushers help. Me & bring me communion to my seat! How great is that. I was more active in our parish before I had these health problems. It bothers me for my lack of help & yet I am as welcome & recognized for who I am.
Our Fr. Dave is the best Paster I have ever had, thru the yrs, there has been several. Not nay will I miss him, but, his ?Homilies are the best. I feel he is speaking just to me! It’s not me, he has that same effect on so many of us, such a gift. God bless our staff & ourpriests. I get too chatty, but our parish is a 10++

Lacks respect for the total community. They don't care how their carnival affects anyone but their bottom line. It's a business. Go to St.Isaac's - they understand spirituality.
