The principal of this school made every student come in during a blizzard and caused at least ten accidents and ~20 people got stuck, closer to 50 couldn't even leave because their cars wouldn't leave their homes. By the way, every single one of those people, including the ones who got into actual car accidents, got punished severely.

I am a proud District 186 alumni as well as my parents and my siblings. We all had a wonderful journey from elementary through high school (Go Springfield High Senators!) with talented teachers who care about the students and provided the educational resources for all of us to excel. My daughters also attend 186, and my oldest will graduate from Springfield High next May. I'm proud of the hard work our public school district has carried on for generations! Thank you to all who make things happen every day for our kids and our community.

Instead of easily helping us they got snippy and told us to transfer schools. I expected nothing less from district 186 after eight frustrating years of enrollment.

Although the district office was fantastic and helped us out in every way we needed when we got to Lanphier high School to finish the registration process we were intimidated and still have not gotten the process completed and it's almost impossible to get a hold of anyone at that school. I seriously fear for the safety of the child that I'm attempting to enroll in that school.

The fact is that DISTIRCT 186 is an execrable School District, if not possibly one of the worst in the entire country. Where do I even begin? Not only was I abused in just about every single way for the duration of Kindergarten up to my senior by the people entrusted to look after me, but I didn't learn a single thing. It seriously is unbelievable just how unprofessional, ignorant, callous and equally incompetent a handful of these teachers were. More than a few laws had been broken only for there to be no repercussions or consequences for anyone involved and I was badly traumatized. Thanks so much for ruining my life!

If I could give no stars I would due to there absolutely appalling behavior and terrible attitude I've been left on hold and hung up on even the school received the same treatment.they truly need to do better and probably hire people that actually care.

Honestly, its good, the grading system is fair, the teachers aren't bad, and I think the gifted system is also fair, however, some of the food isn't the best, but I'm glad I enrolled in this district
