My kids have been attending KinderCare since 2018. I absolutely love the staff. They are always welcoming and accommodating to my needs. Any concerns I have the Director Lauren is quick to make sure any issues get rectified in a timely manner. She always greet my kids and I with a warm smile and good morning/ afternoon. I would highly recommend KinderCare SouthHolland to anyone who has childcare needs. My kids LOVE KinderCare!

Ms. Lauren - She’s been amazing since the beginning. From scheduling a tour and making sure I viewed the entire center, not just the room my child would be in to making sure I fully understood the breakdown of my account and my weekly financial responsibilities.

Ms. Larria - a true quiet storm! Each time I see her, she’s stopping in each classroom, checking in with the staff to ensure they are still within ratio and to see if there’s anything they need. When she is in the office, she appears to be working very hard. I can really appreciate her remaining neutral to help resolve a conflict and not just taking her staff member’s side.

Ms. Pam - a definite ROCKSTAR in my book! When I registered my child and informed her of their allergies, she sat down with me and we looked over each menu to confirm what foods were acceptable and what would cause a reaction. She also allows me to send in options similar to what the other children are eating during that meal so my child doesn’t feel excluded or different for having restrictions.

Lead and Assistant Teachers - everyone is sharing the responsibility of keeping the children safe and engaged! I can also appreciate that everyone speaks to you when they see you versus only speaking to the parents of children in their classroom.

South Holland KinderCare is a clean and warm environment and I’d recommend anyone looking for a family oriented center to give them a call!!

I hate that I have to leave a star at all! My son was going to this school for 4 weeks. Yesterday, they were on the playground playing when one of the other kids got made and kicked my son on the face, because the child got mad! Per the teacher he intentionally kicked my son. When I asked the teacher what happened all, she said she doesn't know HOWEVER she claims she saw the kick! I pay way to much for tuition for my child to be hurt and no one can tell me the events leading up to it. The next day I called to see if there was going to be any action taken with the child only to be told they can't tell me anything. I wasn't asking for the little boys name just the action. Not only did the appear to be nonchalant about this issue, by sending me a message in the app, no phone call just a message. Asking for pictures. Why wasn't pictures taken when the little report was completed.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE!

I absolutely love this location at Kindercare. Although I live in Indiana, my family and I have always opted to make the short drive over to South Holland because the level of service and care provided at this location is just too good to pass up. My daughter originally went to this location years ago and that's when my family and I first fell in love with this location.. Fast forward years later when our family grew we knew just where to bring our son for the same level of trust and guidance we received with our daughter. When we came back it truly was like seeing family again. It helped and was really special seeing familiar faces that helped care for our daughter years prior. Our son is cared for like one of their own and there really is no better feeling as a parent having that trust of an entire center to have your kids best interest at heart. A very dear special shout out to Center director Lauren. Infant rooms Ms. Renelle, Ms. Anyla, Ms De'Andrea. And from my daughter's time in the past Ms. Anita, Ms Pam, Ms. Tamara, and Ms. Taanika. I consider each and everyone there a member of our family because they treat us as such!

I strongly advise against sending your children to this center. I have witnessed instances of teachers displaying physical aggression towards the children, and the center director, Lauren, seems more interested in socializing with staff than in the well-being of the kids. Her leadership skills are lacking, and it’s perplexing how she holds her position. While she puts on a friendly facade for parents, her true demeanor is revealed once they leave, as she makes disparaging remarks about the children. Additionally, the assistant, Larria, appears completely disengaged and lacks basic awareness of her responsibilities. The environment is also concerning; the kitchen is unsanitary, with the lunch lady, Pam, serving food with her bare hands and even tasting it, which poses serious health risks. Furthermore, Pam is known to be rude and unapproachable, making the overall experience for the children quite negative. I cannot recommend this place at all.

I don't think it's affordable for parents with Childcare. My daughter was attending here for about 3 months, I had to pay a separate weekly amount, too expensive to afford, when she turned 3 they charged me a extra fee without me knowing, plus a extra week, assuming they knew I would take my child out. I believe that's illegal with no contract making me aware, I would get charged a extra fee. They already expensive. I kept her here a little longer because of her nice teacher Ms. Anita I think her name was, she teaches the 3 year old room & I think she deserves a raise for her hardwork. The director Lauren seems mean. She barley speaks, not friendly and a few weeks ago, she tried to force the parents to keep the kids home, because she was short staffed, then randomly closed both the 2 year old rooms on a Friday, like us parents work everyday how you gonna force us to not bring our child, I asked for a discount for that friday, she discounted me 3 dollars. I want this facility to return my extra money, they charged me for my baby turning 3 for two weeks without informing the new price changes, I feel like that was not right. 11-12-24 Updated never received no money back a call anytime they was under new manager in customer service last person resigned.

PSA… if you have a student that uses this day care center as AM drop off to Nathan Hale Elementary in Lansing IL, please note that the driver of the small white school bus labeled Kindercare Learning Center is highly inappropriate to be responsible for transporting students. She’s very aggressive & confrontational and no sense of the danger is putting those children in. I witnessed her screaming and yelling to the top of lungs right in front of a the school with another parent because she ASSUMED the parent WAS going to hit the company vehicle while children were present on the bus. All parents please be aware of this one. The school has confirmed the identity of the Daycare. I called the daycare to report this driver, I spoke with Lauren the director who was just as ignorant as her driver. Please believe this matter has been escalated

My daughter was in home care for the first 2 yrs and it was until we enrolled her at South Holland Kinder Care that we really saw her flourish. The teachers are amazing with her and love her like their own and she loves them just the same. I am so happy and at ease as a mother every morning dropping her off knowing she is great hands to not only take care of her, but develop her growing skills to hit her milestones in knowledge and social interaction. Center director Kelsy and Assistant Director Dacia are amazing and the staff is unrivaled from my experience. To many shout outs to mention. If you are looking for a daycare or considering a new daycare provider, they have you and your child covered with love!! Do not hesitate!!
