What a wonderful organization with therapy mini horses, therapy dogs and even a therapy cat! SOUL stands for Sharing Of Unconditional Love and that is what we do from visits to nursing homes, assisted living and independent senior living communities to children at schools and libraries. So many smiles and spreading of joy!

We absolutely love that this organization exists! Who wouldn’t smile when being greeted by a soft nuzzle from a miniature therapy horse, or giggle when a miniature donkey brays! Or even the amazement that a therapy cat is even a thing! Being on the property can bring such peace to your SOUL - all of life’s troubles can absolutely melt away. But the best part of this organization is the heart and SOUL - Jodie - whose infectious smile and extraordinary vision has made thousands of human-animal connections possible in the Barrington area and beyond!

Having been a volunteer at SOUL Harbour Ranch (SHR) for over a year now, it’s hard for me to overstate what a wonderful place it is. I have become a Pet Partners handler with mini horse Unique and my dog, Betty. It’s not just the joy that SHR spreads in healthcare settings, schools, community events, etc., it’s the joy I feel being a part of this wonderful organization. Additionally, my 92-year old father participates in the monthly SHR veteran’s gathering. It is a highlight of every month for him.

SOUL HARBOUR RANCH is appropriately named! Experienced miniature therapy horses, affectionate therapy dog teams, a special therapy cat team, two aspiring miniature therapy donkeys, two adorable little pigs and one sweet fluffy rabbit are the makeup of SOUL HARBOUR RANCH.
SOUL HARBOUR RANCH therapy animals are a source of joy and comfort by providing offsite and selective onsite visits for those who are looking to receive the benefits of what therapy animals have to offer. SOUL Harbour Ranch is an amazing place. The miniature therapy horses are one of a kind, great therapy dog teams and even though their amazing therapy cat is no longer around she touched so many people in her short time with them. Everyone is so wonderful! Love everyone
