We have stayed here for several years now, usually extended stays. The front desk personnel are friendly, efficient and helpful. The rooms, general facilities and the indoor pool area are always extremely well maintained. It’s normally quieter than more expensive inns we’ve stayed in elsewhere. The manager goes out of his way to make guests stays safe and comfortable. The inn is located in a safe location at the south edge of S Jacksonville. A very good experience!!!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Our check in was smooth and the employee went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the night was quiet. Breakfast was outstanding. The employee was diligent to keep everything clean and stocked at breakfast, and kindly welcomed guests. We noticed nice detail touches- ice water in lobby, decorated for the season, plenty of options for breakfast- made it feel like a comfortable home away from home.|We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone passing through.

Loved this place !! Great welcome by front desk. Our team had a particular timing issue and they worked it out beautifully. Check out is 11 am , which is great. Many nice perks for a lower budget. Reminded me of a hampton inn feel but a much more budget friendly option. Thanks Sleep Inn staff!! Thanks for clean rooms too. A+

I commend this hotel. We came in late, stayed at another (dysfunctional) competitor, with awful amenities.
Sleep Inn accommodated us with early check-in and military discount. The front desk was exceptional! Courteous and helpful! We then had a wonderful stay in a comfortable, clean room.

We stayed here 2 nights last year and decided to stay again this year. We spent 2 nights, Fri. & Sat. Hotel only at about 50% capacity so it was very quiet. Front desk personnel were great. Our room was very clean and the dining area was very clean. The weekend dining area attendant was very pleasant and does a wonderful job keeping food items refreshed as needed and the area tidy. The breakfast in the very spacious lobby was very good with many choices. (scrambled eggs, link sausages, biscuits&gravy,cold cereal, waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, toast, choice of 3 juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruit, danish, and a few others). We did notice some of the ice machines were down and some of the hallway carpets could use a cleaning. A larger selection of television channels would be nice as many of them are duplicates. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

I first want to state the room was clean. What I am unhappy with is the cancellation policy they refused to reconsider. I booked two nights as I was in town for a local two day basketball tournament. After the first day, the tournament canceled early as an ice storm was rolling in. Being from out of town, I had to leave before the storm hit to make it home safely. I asked if I could get a refund for one night since I wouldn’t be saying. I was told because the room was sold and wouldn’t be able to sell it online is BS. Hotel wasn’t overbooked and with the storm coming, don’t think anyone would be out shopping for a room in the days to follow. Being. Rewards member means nothing to a company that’s only in it for the money. Not customer satisfaction. I will not be spending any of my money with this company going forward. Asking for one night refund will not put a hotel out of business due to a storm rolling in. I fully understand how policy’s work and exceptions can be made. Company not willing to is disappointing and says a lot.

There was an undisclosed $250 cash only deposit required for reservations made as a Jacksonville resident that I was first told when I was trying to check in. I was only trying to book a room for an out of town guest, but I guess that’s not what this Hotel encourages.

Edit: I appreciate the reply. I did not notice the info on the website. My mistake. Still, though I understand the policy reason behind the deposit, I believe there could be better alternatives/warnings to balance guests that genuinely just want to book rooms for out of town visitors.
