Flight Instructor Jack M. is absolutely fantastic! I took my 7 year old son to the Sugar Grove location for a discovery flight for his birthday. Before we even walked through the parking lot, Jack was waving to us from the plane and welcomed us into the building. My son was shy at first, but Jack did a good job of asking my son questions and creating conversation and putting him at ease. They eventually took flight and my son had an awesome time! He talked about it the whole day and Jack even sent me pictures from the flight. Highly recommended!!!

I went out and enjoyed flying, I haven't flown in a little plan as an adult (once when I was a boy) but I can tell you this was amazing. I just signed up for a intro flight, everyone is very nice and polite. Also when we where ready to get going, my pilot (I'm terrible with names) was impressive young man he was very on top of his game very knowledgeable and it is an added bonus as we were taking off flying and Landing he was walking through the steps showing me what all the instruments were how they worked way above and beyond I was very impressed I was expecting just to go up for a quick sightseers look of the land and come down he also offered me to fly but I declined I was just happy looking out the window at the beautiful landscape I'd recommend this to anybody of any age! Really gives you a perspective on how small we are in the world I only being three thousand feet up and how far you can see out so beautiful and amazing. I'll definitely have to go back up again and remember to bring my phone with me for the beautiful views it's like riding a motorcycle in the sky it was great.

Narvick is a amazing instructor...He explain everything about the plane. As he did the check point he took his time and explained the process. If I had questions he took time to explain. When we were in the air I took control of the Plane. He would tell me what to do. I did fly the plane on my own. It was amazing. I would recommend him highly.

From the intro flight all the way through to receiving a pilots license, the staff at SimplyFly has been very supportive. They are excellent coaches and help support your desire to continue with a “can do” attitude and approach. The entire staff is great and all the students I have come in contact with are very happy with how their training is going.

I had a wonderful experience at SimplyFLY! I took a Discovery Flight with Narvick Lopez as my flight instructor. Not only is Narvick an awesome pilot/instructor, but he's also a super funny and down to earth guy. I enjoyed the flight as well as the myriad of flight information explained before and during the flight itself. The price is competitive, if not better, with other local places.

I am pretty close to finishing my training for a Sport Pilot license and the experience here has been phenomenal. The owners and instructors genuinely care about each and every student. They make you feel welcome. It does not feel like a typical school whereas you are processed in and out. They have a family type environment and display patience. SimpyFly is serious about supporting new pilots. My relationship will continue with them when I am finished as I know they take care of their aircraft and people. I will recommend them to anyone in search of getting their Pilot Certificate. The owners Dave and Tony definitely have a thorough vetting process for their Certified Flight Instructors in which they understand the intangibles of individuals and how important the dynamic is between instructor and student. You can tell they look for that in their employees.

I was given a Discovery Flight to Simple Fly as a gift. When I called and set up and appointment I asked if I would be contacted in advance if the weather was not good enough to fly. The lady booking the flight assured me I would be. I drive about 40 minutes out to the airport and waited 20 more minutes for the pilot only to be told the weather was not good enough to fly.

Also when I called to book the flight they told me that they showed my flight was 30 minutes even though the certificate they issued clearly said 1 hour. They decided to extended the flight longer than 30 minutes for the inconvenience of driving out there without being called for the cancelation and also gave me a free 360 video, which was very nice. However, the video took three months to get and I had to call 3 times and email them to even make sure I was still getting it.

Based on this experience, I would be skeptic to do my pilot training here due to the miscommunication and unreliability. Other than that the flight was awesome and I had a very pleasant experience flying with the pilot who was very nice. Thank you again for the video!

Phenomenal experience! I worked with the owner, Dave Spano, to get my sport license and loved every minute of it! Dave is so down to earth and values his students so much. He makes the experience of getting your license and flying more than the dream so many people have, he makes it an incredible reality that you would be crazy to not take him up on.
