I sent my son to Simon Academics for four years during his high school years. And he was loving it. According to my son, Simon Academics writing classes were most useful classes to him. Comments and constructive feedback on the writing assignments had given my son a very strong foundation in English writing in high school as well as in the college. Mr. Simon is a teacher who loves what he does. In addition to being a good teacher, he encourages students to dedicate

I feel Mr. Simon is one of the best kept secrets for Fremont students and parents, so I was torn about writing this review. But in the end, he truly deserves to be more well-known than the franchise tutor mills.
Our two sons have been in Mr. Simon’s classes for the last two years, and we just enrolled them for another year.
We can see their improvement in fictional writing style and persuasive organization. Their school teachers have also commented on how articulate they have become.
With input from our kids, our thoughts on why his classes are so effective:
* Mr. Simon’s expectations of disciplined work, enforced with a sense of humor, motivates his students. Oftentimes my kids would tell us the jokes Mr. Simon told them.
* Mr. Simon provides personalized feedback for each student, but done in the class such that all can benefit from his teachings.
* Mr. Simon also advises the parents not to intervene with students’ work. Initially it was hard on our helicopter parenting style, but soon I found that without our meddling, our kids became quite proactive in doing their assignment.
Mr. Simon provides for both in-person and live online during class hours, but I’d recommend students attend in-person whenever possible.

Mr. Z at Simon Academics helped my daughter become confident in her writing. He is funny and patient with his students. He makes helpful edits in the homework and discusses each of the edits in class. If there's time, he helps students understand the new homework so that they don't get lost. We are very grateful for Mr. Z's patience and help. I highly recommend Simon Academics. Thank You Mr. Z!

This class is very bad. They ask you to write 2 sentences in 1 paragraph, and when you write more the teacher publicly says your writing is bad in front of your classmates. And anyway WHO WRITES 2 SENTENCES IN A PARAGRPH. AND YOU CAN ONLY HAVE 1 CHARACTER DO SOMETHING IN 1 PARAGRAPH, OR THEY CALL IT "TURN SHARING".
