What an incredible experience! Staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Course schedule was well thought out and comfortable. First part of each day was spent in the classroom and then for the afternoon, we went into the field to practice and get some hands on experience to reinforce information. For anyone wanting to further their knowledge or anyone just starting out, this class is perfect. They really did a great job grouping students according to skill level and experience. This class will accommodate even someone with very little backcountry experience. I can't wait to take the next class!!

Some educational and even professional organizations talk a lot about theory with little practical application. At SAS We drilled the scenarios all day! Talked about it then did it again! Best class I have had in a long time.
