I can’t say enough nice things about the staff and leadership at Sheridan Green. Their GT Center program has some of the best, hardest working educators you will ever find, and their traditional classrooms are excellent as well.

There are a lot of elementary school choices in the northern region of Jefferson County. You owe it to yourself and your family to research and come tour this school during the School choice process. It is truly a gem.

I went to school here, (way back when) and I loved it! I figured my daughter would love it too....and she does!
Granted, she is only in pre-school, attends 2.5 hours & 4 days a week, but she does love that short time at school! (Thank you for that!)
At this age, there should be no reason why a child doesn't like school. However, for the small percent of unfortunate cases that despise school and dread going, this school will be a posituve turning point for you! It was for us.
The facility our daughter began pre-school at, resulted in a not-so pleasant experience. We found that she was degressing and had no enthusiasm about school. That was until we enrolled her at Sheridan Green Elementary. There are more than one, qualified teacher that would be tending to her class throughout their 2.5 hour stay. Certainly more attention being had by the students on an individual level, which benefits all types of students!
My husband and I are very happy with this school. We feel it is a great fit for our family and in particularly, our little pre-schooler! Thank you Ms. Linda, (Pre-School director) and the entire staff at Sheridan Green Elementary. Thank you for the contributions you make to the wonder that my child is very eager to learn about!
Just wanted the staff to know that we recognize and appreciate all attention, concern and your hard work you put in, when it comes to educating the most precious person in the world to us!
