The trainings do a great job of giving you hands on experience. The trainers are very knowledgeable and want to help you learn.

However; the trainers are inflexible and will withhold the certification if you miss any time during the training. If you get called by a doctor, or have an urgent meeting, they will withhold the certification from you. If there is any chance of another priority popping up (work, personal), then I would not recommend having a team take any training. These parameters and expectations are not communicated until after you pay the training fee.

This place will tell you there is a job opening and then scam you to take their courses. They are thieves- scammers - they contacted me told me there was a job opening, but there was no job opening.

Agile upgrade or CSPO upgrade or you say Scrum Alliance traning. I had chance to upskill myself for CSPO and Scrum alliance here and was very happy to get awesome and supportive trainers for full day programs, it was really fun and great sessions.

Would like to thank you for investing in me and supporting in understanding agile concepts. Totally recommended and would rate 5/5 for sure.

Thank you - Arjun

I second others' sentiments regarding ScrumAlliance. I think there's likely a reason they have no phone number listed for any personnel, and their Customer Service was downright rude when I was trying to assist a colleague of mine in paying for a CSM renewal as a Federal Government employee (email exchange below). This was literally an attempt to pay their company for a renewal through a Credit Card, and it somehow failed.

If you're Government-affiliated and looking for Agile / Scrum, I would personally look elsewhere -- as this employee proved prejudicial and the company have not dissociated themselves from his actions. But don't take my word for it, here's ScrumAlliance's communication verbatim.

Jeff,

Sorry to hear that! I'm a little confused as to why giving credit card numbers out on the phone is preferred over PayPal, but I'm sure our government knows exactly what they are doing.

I've worked with some Navy and DEA personnel who have used the shared login method to pay for the renewal, but other than that I cannot think of any other solutions.

Take care, and best of luck on your scrum journey!

Good morning Nolan,

Unfortunately PayPal and wire transfers are not an accepted means of payment for Federal Government Purchase Cards (P-Cards) and decline payment by our vendor. If PayPal and wire transfers are ScrumAlliance’s only way for accepting payments, I think we’ll likely need to go with another vendor for Agile certifications.

Thanks,
Jeff

It is impossible to talk to a live human being at SA. There is no phone number and every email is a bot.
Edit: It took a little fishing but finally found someone through a generic email address. Everything has been sorted but my suggestion would be to make getting in contact with a real person a little easier.

Do not recommend taking courses with this organization. Once they have your email, they continue to spam you with advertising emails. I have asked repeatedly to be removed from their mailing list for over a month now with no avail.
