So far we love this school, way better than the daycare we use to attend. I saw a big difference in the first 4 days of attendance. The most important thing is he doesnt cry when we drop him off...and he really likes his teachers. I have even decided that I will work here, when I retire from my job - I want to ‘nurture’ the babies —to guide them and help them grow into independent and resourceful little humans. <3

Best daycare/preschool option! As a TUSD daycare, safety/security are priorities! Teachers genuinely love the children in their care. Concerns are taken seriously. Billing is transparent.

We were there for 2 years. My child got to know most of the teachers and staff in that time. He was prepared well for kindergarten.

There are lots of government programs to pay for preschool these days. Call them and see what your options are!

I would love to see this school offer afterschool care for elementary school kids!

Not clear about prices. Director is VERY rude. She told me I had a week vacation time and after I took the vacation with my family she told me I owed $400 for the extra two days my child was gone. She lied to my face and claimed that she never told me that I had one week of vacation time which I would not be charged for. Absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. Teachers and other office staff were always friendly and respectful. Would not recommend this daycare because the prices are outrageous and the director is extremely rude and dishonest. There are much better places to take your children. Not much learning going on here either, more of a daycare than a learning center.

My son has learned several life skills here. The staff is very friendly and caring. He loves his friends and enjoys going everyday. We have been here 2 years and have been very pleased.

I love this school and the staff with ALL my heart! My son started in infant room #18 and now that my son is 4yrs old in the pre-kinder classrooms, I am dreading him having to leave next year. My son has learned so much from all his past teachers that I am fully confident that he will be MORE than ready for Kindergarten. The teaching staff always have creative lesson plans and art projects for the children to do, which is balanced with the right amount of play time. Children learn when play and the teachers are flexible to know when to modify their plans for the children. We love Schumaker Stars!!

If I could give the school less ratings I would they were completely rude to me every time I tried to ask them about their payment system they were never clear on any of their prices they always changed or there was always something new. even with the DES help they're still never clear with any of their prices. they don't do any academics like teaching kids their ABCs or sitting down with them teaching them how to write their name my daughter spent the majority of her time there doing "play time "when I used to go in to pick up my daughter there would be children climbing at least 10 feet in the air on the beds there would also be kids hitting other kids with large sticks and never anybody saying anything about it. I once had to confront this situation with my kids who got hit. the front desk lady (nita) was always very rude she always had a tone she always played as if she wasnt rude and always hung up the phone on me numerous occasion she would also talk rudely about me to other staff members. this school is by far the worst school I've ever had for an infant Learning Center it's more a daycare than an infant Learning Center even daycare have better systems I would never send my kid here again as soon as they were completely rude to me I took my kid out I would not recommend it to anybody I know or didn't know

The Schumaker Infant and early learning center is an excellent facility to entrust your children to. The employees care about the children. They also strive to teach and instill values in the children they are looking after. I was blessed to find this childcare/preschool in my vicinity.

Our boy just graduated preschool from Schumacher IELC. It was absolutely a wonderful experience for him. He loved his teachers, learned not only basics but so much more. He is ready for "big boy school" and loves going to school. Thanks Schumacher!!!
