I live in green briar which is also owned by State Street Properties. Last August, when we first moved in, our apartment had flooded with sewage water to which we woke up to an army of people in our apartment unannounced. At first they came in and just tried to shampoo the carpets after everything had been saturated for at least 24 hours. A few months later, my wife and I began having regular allergy related issues. My wife and I have had multiple trips to our doctor because of said allergies. Our doctor said that we should see if we could get our apartment professionally checked for mold because he thinks that may be the culprit. I called once with no answer on a Tuesday afternoon and got the machine. I left a message, no big deal. After no getting a response Tuesday night, I decided to call Wednesday morning. Wednesday I called, got the machine three separate times, and left messages explaining our issue and never received a call back. It has now been 3 weeks, with multiple calls and no response after multiple massages calmly explaining that our apartment likely has mold and our health is being affected by it. It's frustrating that when my families health is on the line, I cant get a hold of someone to help us out. I just find it surprising that a business would represent themselves in this way. We've also tried calling multiple times about the sound of pests inside of the walls eating away at something, but again, no luck. When we do have pest issue, we had to actually get the number of the pest control agent when he was visiting the apartments because we can never get a hold of state streets office. If you're looking for an apartment in the Jacksonville area, I suggest you look elsewhere. As soon as our lease is up, my wife and I will be taking our business elsewhere.

Love my apartment. The thing I wish is that they would of taken lockers out or covered them up.
