I'm not sure what planet some of these other reviews come from but I can say that my son was placed here 1 + 1/2 years when his mother was dying and 10 years later is still getting counseling from the abuse he suffered there (2013-14), He said "IT IS NOT CHRISTIAN!" Stories of no mattresses, children not being able to see their families, and some of the secrete rooms they put children in are absolutely horrific. They fostered a system of special privileges for certain kids that lied for them, but I see more of these issues are coming to light. Any place that had you basically sign a waiver of total control and to not sue you if anything happens as a result, is certainly ripe for abuse! It's shameful that the State turns a blind eye...

Prior orphanage turned Christian boys home. This is an amazing place full of peace, love, accountability, encouragement, self discipline, guidance, and Christ. We were blessed to work along side some of the boys to paint a very long hallway. The staff here, some live-in, are compassionate and understand of each boys context. They have a school, wood shop, metal fabrication, apiary, roping calves, archery, soccer/softball/disc golf teams, chapel, and more. They are open to visitors and volunteers and speakers to pour into the young men under their care.

I attended this school from age 14 to 16 and honestly I miss it so much. The staff here were wonderful and couldn't have been kinder even when conflict emerged. Probably the coolest range of activities anywhere as well. Love you guys <3.

I stayed at this great place in 1991 1992. It was a great learning exp. For me. Thank you all the staff that did there best to help me. If it wasn't for this childern's home I wouldn't of gotten a diplom. Thank you again.
