Now I would like to share my experience here for the first time in 3 years being out to this establishment on January 29th 2025, my birthday at 2pm I called the Saito Japanese steak house in wellington florida and spoken with a lady name Jay and the manager margaret, i asked questions on the hibachi also organizing a birthday for myself celebrating me and my wife for 7 years of marriage and 4 other guest, me being the birthday boy, I (Birthday Boy) am paying $275.00 for the venue was promised a little desert and a song and at least recognition from a recommended chef called pam(Never received the referred chef) that was referred by Jay whom i was speaking to at the time 4 hours prior to the visit to habachi, I was treated very very poorly as far as service, my family was rushed beyond measure to order , Eat and all around very uncomfortable,one of my guest even had her rice taken and packaged in a Styrofoam container by the server(lady)i was trying to explain that I was the birthday boy plus my other party stating that it was my birthday was rudley overlooked that it was my birthday which Jay had promised that they were going to at least recognize my birthday never came , already disappointed I was finishing up my rice my plate was taken from me to early and couldn't enjoy the company I paid for to sit with and dine with and not only that everyone else's birthday was being sang while I was left being rushed and just feeling very unappreciated , also charged me a $20 Sharing charge on a millennium meal this was one of the most absolutely terrible experience for me i felt like I was tricked and robbed out of the gratuity and my $275.00 experience which I paid them in $1 Dollar bills this is my account of the experience i will never return now for the food it was 3 / 5 hopefully I can get a Call from managment would like to talk to them I truly felt i was taking advantaged of ,also PLEASE ID PATRONS THAT ORDER ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES (if they would have checked my ID they would have known also another way that it was my birthday) let alone the chef mingled with everyone else except for the birthday boy IN CONCLUSION I PROVIDED A RECIEPT TO SHOW YOU I ENDED UP DOING A TRADITIONAL BIRTHDAY AT HOME I WENT TO PUBLIX AND BOUGHT A BIRTHDAY CAKE AND CELEBRATED AT HOME $300 LATER

FOOD 4/5 -cooked and seared to perfection, seasoned well
Service 2/5 - Was charged $20 Sharing Charge on a millenium dinner (Misrepresentation),Rushed service,lack of communication, (manager:Margaret) ,Lack of Verifying ID for selling Alchohol
Atmosphere 1/5 - server (Lady) Attitude(Annoyed),Chef(Quiet,few habachi tricks )

I went there to celebrate my 17th birthday. I came with 3 friends. And there was a section to do the hibachi or your regular 1-4 seating. We did the normal table with the 4 seating.
The waiter kinda scared us cause he just came up out of no where 😭 He was an asian old man so English wasn’t his first language like that. But anyways he did a decent job serving us.
Since we didn’t do the hibachi, our food came in 10 minutes. We didn’t have to wait 15 minutes or more. I was kinda surprised by that. But mainly because there were a lot more people in the hibachi than the regular side.
The food was really good. Unique flavor.
I order lobster puffs as an appetizer. Then for the bigger meal i got hibachi rice with lobster and chicken. For my drink i had green iced tea. In total my order was $78
Im pretty sure they did a birthday special but i forgot to ask💔 Other then that, i rate this experience a 7/10

Saito’s is good not great. I’ve been to better Japanese Hibachi. They didn’t have sushi!!!The server wasn’t the most personable & took forever to bring us our check. The chef was good. Food was yummy but for the price I’d expect bigger/better quality. Definitely worth going at least once during your adventures in Wellington.

It's interesting to walk into a Japanese restaurant and the first thing you see is a sign stating they don't make sushi or work with raw fish. From there, the experience can be surprising.

Food: The salmon was frozen and covered in a sauce that masked any fish flavor. The salad was good, and the chicken with shrimp was acceptable.

Service: The person who attended to us was very kind and attentive; that's all I can say on that front.

Ambiance: The place is old and in need of a deep cleaning. Upon entering, there are unpleasant odors. Despite not being an inexpensive spot, it seems to attract a younger crowd.

Conclusion: I would explore other options in the area before returning

Yum! Delicious food, great service, clean ambiance and reasonable prices plus so much food you always leave with leftovers. My friend and I had the best time here. We each had steak and shrimp with fried rice and vegetables with a side of salad and soup and an excellent Italian wine as well as a cook that was both knowledgeable and hilarious. We had such a wonderful time and I hope you do too! Go hungry and #enjoy 💕. I’m sure you’re not going to regret it.

The first time I came I poisoned with shrimp, this time passed all night with stomach pain and diarrhea,service good but extremely expensive $250 for eating rice and chicken? I understand that it is different experience but the restaurant is not in conditions to collect that, poor maintenance looks greasy and dirt!

Not sure why people are giving it 4 stars. When we walked in. We all said where are the menus? And out of nowhere it came down from the ceiling! WHICH WAS INCREDIBLE! The food was amazing and the service was great too! No complaints here! 5 stars!
