I signed up for this thinking it was an actual class. The instructor didn’t teach us anything - my husband just swam around in the pool with our 1yr old without any instruction. There were only two babies there too, so it wasn’t like the instructor was too overwhelmed to interact. You can free swim at the rec center. They also don’t respond to emails. I would not recommend.

They charged us a total of $280 for our “classes” and won’t respond to emails explaining why. Definitely stay away from this scam!

We have been coming to safesplash for two months- although our sweet swim instructor moved on to a new job (oregano) we’ve been lucky to have found some new really great teachers Sam and Jacob. My girls adjusted quickly to them. I have two VERY beginning swimmers and they are making so much improvement already. They are becoming comfortable in the water as well. They have an online portal that makes it easy to schedule make up classes and pay tuition. The call center as well as the front desk staff have been really polite and try to solve any problems.

My kids are gaining skills and confidence in the water, and the instructors are great about keeping them learning while having fun. Several lesson times to choose from and scheduling make-ups for missed lessons is pretty easy.

Mr. David was very enthusiastic and made my son’s experience comfortable and fun! Was great to see improvement just throughout one 30min session. Can’t wait to see how his skills grow in the coming weeks!
Also really appreciated the free trial class because I had no clue what my 3yo child’s reaction was going to be to swim lessons and this proved to be a great fit 🙂

A great experience! Our 3 year old loves coming to this pool and working with his teacher, Mr. Sam. As parents, we are impressed how well these teachers are able to get even small toddlers to listen and learn and feel comfortable in the water. The staff is accommodating, and every interaction has been very pleasant.

The few poor reviews baffle me. I don't think a 15-day notice before the following month is an unreasonable request. And I think it is the sign of a good instructor to ask what you normally do in the pool before starting a lesson. As for the person who gave one star because he wishes it were still a Blockbuster, well, it might be a valid complaint, but c'mon...

The staff as always been available, professional and friendly, whether by phone or in person. My daughter loves her instructor and loves coming to class!

The space is always clean and welcoming and we really enjoy the staff- David is a great presence as manager with a smile and welcome- he is approachable and great to work with. The instructors are kind and patient yet push our son to grow and learn. They are great at teaching and love the sport. It is always on time and consistently a pleasurable experience. We love it!!

I do not recommend SafeSplash - especially the Park Hill location.

Long story short - there was nothing I could do to persuade my son to get in the water. We tried to cancel in September but they said it was too late int he month and I would be charged for October. I spoke with a woman on the phone and she said if it happens again this month, I could get a 50% credit back for cancelling. My son participated in only 1 class for the month and when I approached SS about this, they chose not to honor the 50% refund which we previously discussed (which mind you is still $66 for ONE 30 minute class).

Based on what has transpired, I feel the actions on behalf of SafeSplash strongly contradict their mission to "provide joy, freedom and endless opportunities to create lifelong memories" and support their students in "discovering the magic of swimming." It seems to me as though they'd rather nickle-and-dime their customers. I'm not going to force my screaming child into the water so we can scar him and disrupt everything else going on in the pool.

Lastly, I requested a call back personally from the manager, however this responsibility was passed off to a representative at the call center. This leads me to believe this business is under extremely poor management.

Unfortunately SafeSplash was unable to offer any sort of solution on how to resolve this issue that could benefit the both of us.

I strongly suggest that Denver families consider taking their children elsewhere. It is disgusting to me that this company feels justified in $133 for one class.
