The Board of Directors for this org does not not live up to it's mission statement. It is absolutely not about the kids. A Board member endangered the safety of a child and when the Board was notified this senior Board member was promoted to lead a program that deals with children. I wonder how much $ she contributed to buy her Board positions and if that is more important than the safety of severely marginalized children. The fact that this board is screaming "it's all about the kids" doesn't mean that it's actually true. If it were all about the kids they would be protected from being endangered by senior members of the Board. The Board does not keep their promises to do simple things like return calls. How can they possibly care about children based on their actions? Run. Run far away from this white savior debacle.
