Best class I ever took. instructors give a clear understanding of the subject. They are training. instructions are clear they make understanding the courses easy. They have really good instructors. I went on the weekend, so I was blessed to have the ability to be trained by Sean Campbell he did a great job of teaching and helping the whole class understand what was needed and expected from us as security guards.10/10 I would recommend the class to anyone who wants to take their guards courses

I was searching for a security training center to get my guard card. I stumbled upon Sacramento security training center as soon as I entered the building instructor Ian Willis had aura around him. You could see right away he doesn’t joke around and does his job professionally, couldn’t ask for a better instructor, Really respect him. He opened my eyes to a lot of things that I have not looked at or had a different view. I look at everything from a different perspective now. I Would recommend everybody to come here to take their guard card training, (P.S) I dare you to fall asleep in his class and see what happens. Again Thank you, Mr. Willis. Will definitely be back here for any firearm training and refreshment for my license, thank you again

Having taken a group lesson in verbal judo/de-escalation tactics with Ian, I truly appreciate how Ian presents the information. He's straightforward and speaks his mind; he does this so as to gage who's got thick skin and who shouldn't be in the profession.

For those new and planning to take the course: Take it seriously. Ian and the other instructors want all students, who want a job in security or something close to it, to make it home alive and well. I'll happily recommend this course to anyone over and over again!

Sacramento Security Training Center is a great place for all your security licensing and training needs.

Both Ian and Scott are great at what they do. They enjoy teaching and love sharing their life experiences with students.

Ian is passionate about security and protection industry and makes learning fun and exciting while going above and beyond in preparing students for the real world. His life experience is invaluable. He is a great conversationalist; engaging and lively. There is never a dull moment in this class.
Ian also goes the extra step in helping those with minimal English language skills. Takes extra time to explain things in relatable easy terms. He cares about each student’s success.
It was a pleasure learning from 2 very skilled professionals

Ian Willis May bust your balls several times during the course of the week but he gets the job done every time. I thought he hated me but found that his approach actually worked in his favor. Highly recommended.

Very good instruction with lots of real world experience to draw from. Any poor reviews on here are probably from people that were dangerous with a firearm and couldn’t handle being told that. He deliberately stresses you to simulate the stress in a real self defense situation (as good as you can in a classroom anyways). Knowledge is top notch, and if you listen to instruction/feedback and are honest with your skill level he is very patient with you. I’m very glad I came to this place for my CCW training. I have a lot more respect for my own firearms now, and a better understanding of how to handle them to prevent a negligent discharge. Keeping my family safe both from outside threats and from the tools use to do it was the goal and I feel like I have started down that road on the right foot.

Scott is a great teacher and explains things in a great understandable way. He is hilarious, keeps his class fun and engaging, while also being super knowledgeable. 100% reccomend.
