I completed my 16-hour CCW classroom and live-fire qualification with Saber Tactics on November 22nd, and I could not be more impressed with the entire experience. Nick and Ephraim ran the range portion, and they were outstanding from start to finish. The additional staff supporting them were just as squared away.

Transitioning from a law-enforcement background into the civilian concealed-carry world has been a real shift for me, but this team made the process smooth, respectful, and confidence-building. Every instructor treated me like part of the group. They were patient when I needed help, direct when I needed clarity, and supportive in a way that reminded me why good training matters. Because of their instruction, I was able to qualify with my Glock 17 and feel genuinely prepared to carry responsibly.

What stood out most was the depth of real-world experience these guys bring. The law-enforcement knowledge, the range safety, the professionalism, and the way they communicate, top tier. These are not “check the box” instructors. They care about developing competent, safe shooters, and it shows.

Awesome group running Saber Tactics. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to get their CCW Certification. The class portion of the training is online and set up so you can complete it on your own time and not in one sitting. A great option for those who have a busy schedule and a family.

Had an excellent training experience with the Saber Tactics team at Los Altos Rod and Gun Club. The training was efficient and very informative; you should sign up for the CCW training even if you have not drawn from holster before.
