Nice library. We were stuck in town with some car issues and we hung out here during the day. It was a great place to relax. Their WiFi was great so we could connect with our laptops. They have a good amount of seating as well.

So appreciate that this library offers visitor cards. Great for making sure kids and adults have something to read while visiting the area. The staff was so friendly and helpful (even on a holiday eve when I’m sure they wouldn’t mind being elsewhere).

I was in town helping an elderly friend, and I needed to print a document from the internet. My friend doesn't have a printer, so I knew a trip to the library was in order.

I'd never been here before, so I first stepped up to the librarian's desk to find out how the process worked. The worker I spoke to was friendly and extremely helpful. She gave me all the information I needed to print out my document quickly and efficiently.

The internet was fast, and I was not stuck waiting for pages to load. It cost 15 cents per page to print from the computers. The pay station for the printer takes dollar bills and coins (no pennies).

The library is small, and there were a few computers in the area where I sat. I don't know if those are the only public computers available.

My visit to this library would have been a five star experience if there hadn't been two unsupervised little kids (no more than 8 years old) using computers in the same area. They were both talking loudly, and one of them was literally shouting. It was very distracting. This kid was absolutely using his outside voice. No one told them to pipe down. A library worker did come along and tell them they couldn't have food near the computers, so they took their melting ice cream sandwiches (!) and went outside, which also solved the noice problem.

Small library, but planning for expansion. There is a nice children and teen area. Quite a few programs. My only issue is the lack of quiet space to work. People use phone and speak in normal tones throughout the library.

Came in with a small crisis and the staff helped us to the best of their abilities. I independently vote that we take a cool trillion of that military budget and distribute it to all libraries across the country.

Edit: ALSO, they display the public wifi on the front door window, as it's available after hours. Talk about public service to those who may otherwise be out of luck, out of time, or don't want to drop $10 on a PSL.

Sadly disappointed in this library! There are very few outlets available for charging laptops as well as very few seating areas to do work on a laptop...maybe 3 tables in the whole place. My biggest complaint is the lack of air conditioning! I was unable to stay for longer than 45 minutes simply because it was so uncomfortably hot. Stepping outside upon leaving was a relief! Considering that this is a publicly funded library, something must be done by the town of Pagosa to increase funding to the library and supply some form of temperature control. A library is a place where people should be able to comfortably pass time.
