Resourceful Organization - the kickstart I needed to reset my home!

As the world reopened in 2021, I bought a much smaller home, then became ill, followed by a family member needing support for a health issue. I ended up with most of the stuffs from the larger home being moved into the smaller with very little time to unpack and organize.

Managing family, work, and a daily imbalance between the two left me feeling stressed and defeated. Danna was incredibly flexible with my chaotic schedule, kind (aka not judgey of my mess!), and packed more in 4 hour chunks of time than I could have completed on my own in 4 days...the 4 hours she spent with my child adding order to their bedroom wouldn't have happened in 4 months of my time!

From the moment Danna stepped into our space, I felt a sense of relief. She was not only professional and knowledgeable but empathetic and has an amazing ability to see beyond the disorder to what will work with the space and to my situation.

Throughout the sessions with Danna, she provided practical solutions which made sense so I could use her efforts to continue adding more order on my own. She impressed me with her ability to create functional systems that can be maintained. I'm incredibly happy she was able to help repurpose items I didn't need but would be useful to someone else.

I wholeheartedly recommend Resourceful Organization to anyone feeling overwhelmed by clutter. Her expertise, patience, kindness, and respect made this experience empowering. While there's still work to be done, it's nowhere near as daunting and finally seems doable.

I’ve been working with Danna for two years, she has transformed our home! We had two rooms full of boxes after a cross country move that we had no idea what to do with. Danna is fantastic. She has a unique combination of focused intention and warmth that worked perfectly when I lost interest or found a photo album and went down memory lane. When she arrived, we could not walk into our attic. When she left, it was a gorgeous space with filled and labeled memory boxes for all four of my children, my husband, myself, beautifully organized racks of seasonal clothing, book shelves, etc. She took multiple car loads of donated items to the refugees. I was equally impressed with her relationships and dedication to those in need. I highly recommend her and have used her multiple times.

Without exaggeration, I could not have emptied 28 years of stuff in my apartment by my closing date without her help.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who offer this service however, Danna's hands on approach, gentle but firm guidance to "keep, donate, trash" could only be done with her compassion and understand of how hard this was. Danna also helped me get my "keep" items organized for easy access in a storage unit.

What made this experience even more than I could image was her volunteerism with organizations that provide support to in-need families. I cannot understate how much knowing my belongings were going to people who truly needed basic living items the most made it so much easier to give away things I don't need but would have hung on to.

In the end, I was able to look at this experience as a shedding of the past to be able to move into the future and I know Danna was instrumental in helping me move on.
