I’ve been to many museums related to the Anasazi. At this museum I learned more and saw more truly unique and educational artifacts than all the larger museums combined. They even had a sample of the type of beans the Anasazi grew. The curators are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Best museum visit of my life.

Such a fantastic experience. Our guide was the founder of the museum and so incredibly knowledgeable. He has such an infectious passion for the artifacts on display and the stories of the people who made them. He was so willing to answer questions and made his explanation of the exhibits feel very personal and special. It's a small museum, but so incredibly worth it! Definitely stop by.

A hidden gem. You need to stop here. Good parking. Was able to get my motorhome in there. A fascinating museum packed with local artifacts. This was an eye opening look into the past. I saw artifacts I've never seen displayed anywhere else. I took a ton of pictures. The day I visited Dixon Spendlove gave a interpretive tour of the museum. Amazingly he is the guy who found and owns most of the items in the museum. Modest gift shop with good prices that had several nice things and my favorite item a t-shirt. It was free but I highly recommend leaving a donation. This is an all volunteer operation.

Impressive collection of artifacts, and Mr. Spendlove is kind, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he's managed to make available for public viewing. Was great at answering questions from my young kids. Very glad we made the stop!

Amazing artifacts and incredible information! It's the personal collection to the gentleman inside who was a wealth of knowledge and great to talk to. Definitely worth the stop!! They survive off of donation so don't be cheap, $5 is worth it.

It's the real deal. An amazing collection of Anasazi artifacts inside the building and interesting "historic period" structures in a field next to it. The museum owner knows a lot and can give you a guided tour of the artifacts. Great guy. No charge, but make a donation.

Great free museum. Outstanding collection of arrowheads, pottery, and baskets. Walk through a cabin and a sheep herders wagon. Loved visiting with the owner. Clean restrooms and picnic area
