Reading with results is such a wonderful organization filled with wonderful tutors. My son worked with Barb and was actually disappointed when we temporarily stopped. I can’t thank them enough for all they have done to help and support him through everything and as I navigated the education system to get home the supports he needed and was entitled to. He wouldn’t be where he is with his dyslexia/reading if it wasn’t for Barb, Deb, and Reading with Results and he has come so far in not just his reading/writing but in his self love and self confidence which is what I see as the biggest accomplishment. All those who support our kids at Reading with Results are amazing and appreciated!

We found Reading with Results after my daughter was assessed and diagnosed as dyslexic. We homeschool but considered using the local district for support, only to be disappointed with their proposed IEP and Reading program (it was ‘research based’ vs ‘evidence based,’ big difference). We didn’t want to waste any more time, so we reached out to Deb.

After just 3 sessions at RWR using the Barton program, I noticed my daughter was picking up books at home and trying to read solo. Her confidence was already soaring. Additionally, she now reads to her Dad (something she was, heartbreakingly, too embarrassed to do before) and eager to find new series at the local library.

Both tutors we have worked with have a quiet warmth about them and I appreciate that. Our time with RWR has also freed up my heart and head from the worries and stress about my daughter’s reading skills. What a gift! I love that she and I read together for pleasure, rather than the drudgery and frustration of our previous lessons.

We are now on level 3 and my daughter continues to improve weekly with her spelling and reading. We truly are getting results and enjoy our time here.

After learning my 9year old son had dyslexia, I was crushed! As a homeschooling mom I felt like a failure. Deb Service assured me I was not a failure! I highly recommend Reading with Results to anyone struggling with language processing and reading. I have 4 children with varying degrees of dyslexia and language processing issues and all 4 have benefited hugely from the Orton-Gillingham method of instruction. 2 of my kids have completed the program, 1 will finish this summer and my youngest has completed more than half. Deborah Service and her staff are excellent encouragers to the students in their struggles and growth as well, of course, as skilled, gifted instructors and guides. We are so thankful!
