We are so delighted with the care and attention our child received during her time at daycare. From the moment we enrolled, the staff was incredibly welcoming and supportive. Paola was very informative and supportive in helping both our child and ourselves through the transition of starting daycare. As a first-time mom, trusting someone else to watch my child was a decision that required a lot of careful consideration and research to ensure their safety and well-being. Paola encouraged me to begin potty training when she noticed my daughter was both mentally and physically prepared and I can honestly say that her help and support made the potty training process so much easier. The daycare predominantly taught in Spanish, which was a key factor in our decision to enroll our daughter, as maintaining her Spanish language skills is very important to us. Our daughter is extremely shy and guarded, but Paola and her staff helped instill confidence in her. We observed a positive impact on her development and social skills as a result. Our daughter just started her first week of preschool, and I can honestly say that enrolling her in this daycare was the best decision we ever made. She didn’t cry on her first day and is clearly well-prepared for this new transition. We are incredibly grateful for the role Paola and her staff played in her development. If we ever have another child, I know exactly where we'll be going. We miss Paola and her staff deeply! I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a loving and enriching experience.

Finding Ms. Pao’s daycare & deciding to enroll my baby has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I feel that her professionalism, attentiveness, & high standards place this daycare as one of the best in the city.

My son started attending in March 2022, just one month shy of his first birthday. I was reluctant to leave him so little, but I had to go back to work sooner than anticipated. I was so happy to see that he had no trouble adjusting to the daycare life. Ms. Pao’s warm welcoming & sweet demeanor made him & I feel safe & secure since day 1.

Her communication is top knotch & the app keeps me informed of everything he does throughout the day.

From learning how to walk & talk to succesfully getting potty trained, Ms. Pao & her assistants have been a very important part of that, & I am forever greatful. They have become part of our family & Santi can’t wait to go to “school” every morning.

My child attended daycare from March 2022 to October 2023. Enrolling my daughter in daycare with Paola was the best decision I could have made. I loved that she was predominantly taught in Spanish, I was constantly updated through an app, and most of all everyone there was attentive and loving towards the kids. My daughter loves her Paola and her Evie!

As a first time mom, I was very thankful that Paola shared some of her knowledge about child development and milestones. As well as helping us through the potty training stage. I feel daycare has prepared my daughter to succeed in a school setting and has helped build her social skills in interacting & playing with other children. She is currently excelling in a dual language preschool program.

We will miss Paola & Evelyn! And we continue to refer new parents to her daycare services.

Ms. Paola has been a dedicated, respectful, and responsible child care provider. She began her business on her own learning and growing along the way. Her talent and patience with the children is highly noticeable. As another child care provider I have referred families over to Ms. Paola’s home daycare because I know she will treat each child in the most caring and suitable manner. Her goal is to provide not just child care to families, but learning experiences that the children will carry with them in their future. I see the excitement and enthusiasm Ms. Paola has when she speaks of her business and her future plans. She is doing the best she can for her community and wishes to help families with their child’s education. She is the person you can trust leaving your child with and know they will be in great hands.

You will be dealing with the most incompetent team. Paola, the owner, can never take accountability for anything wrong that happens. My child attended for less than a year and within that year we always had some concerns and when addressing them Paola would make up any excuse in order to not make herself feel liable for what happens inside the daycare.
Apparently I am not the only parent that has had issues with her regarding her unprofessionalism and her lack of care for the children.
I would always notice my child would cry as she would see Paola open the door to receive her.
On 2 instances my child came home with some sort of injury, at the beginning of the month it was a burn and a week and a half later it was a bruise. From what I have been communicated from other parents things have gotten far worse for other kids. Apparently she showers kids with cold water when they have accidents on themselves. Why anyone would even think to do that is beyond me.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!!

This daycares license is for only 8 children, currently has a total of 15 toddlers enrolled, when DCFS conducts visits, she hides them.
My daughter attended this daycare for 7 months. Owner, Paola and I had issues, due to her lack of communication/ care.
There was a day that was so hot, the kids were outside most of the day (temp was 97 deg), my daughter came home with a BURN that turned into a blister on her finger. I addressed this to Paola, she lied and told me that it was b/c my daughter sucks her thumb (she has been doing that since newborn, this has never happened). I had contacted my daughters' pediatrician prior to her calling, he looked at the photos, and assured that was a burn. The injury itself a careless mistake. Paola never notified me, I noticed when we got home.
Following this, my daughter came home with a BRUISE on her leg. I let Paola know the next day when I picked up my daughter. She tried blaming me, saying my daughter arrived with it that morning. I corrected her, and advised it was from the day before and had photo proof with time and pinged location right after I picked her up.
In the beginning, I saw bizarre reviews and was given an extravagant explanation by Paola. I chose to give her the benefit of the doubt. I started noticing things that just started to coincide with the horrible reviews. When I’d drop off my daughter, I noticed she’d cry and latch onto me as Paola would receive her; when assistant Evelyn would receive her, she’d get so happy and excited. The food the children are frozen/quick. The breakfasts state they’re served with a cup of milk, I’ve never seen a child with a cup of milk. My daughter would get horrible diaper rashes, and would bleed which was painful. I asked Paola if she can add an extra diaper change to help diaper rash. She said no, changes are done standard, every 2 hours.
Paola claims that she is there all day during business hours, to which is FALSE. I would randomly leave work to go check on the daycare (shows how untrusting I was of her), on occasion I saw her leaving and returning with bags from personal shopping. She is good friends with one of the moms, and I would see the mom go upstairs with Paola during business hours, they’d hang out. Then the mom would go out the front into the back to pick up her daughter. From what I’ve heard from previous moms, this was a regular thing and she keeps her friend's child upstairs with her while the rest were downstairs in the daycare.
I requested my child's file; Paola let me know Friday 6/14 she was going to send it. She never did, I had to have police escort me to the daycare, as we arrived she called her husband (who is CPD) and immediately he asked to speak to the police officers. He started making false allegations on how I have been so disrespectful and violent, I have recordings of all interactions with her that show I have remained calm and collected throughout this. As if this isn't corruption at is finest. It wasn’t until Friday 6/21 that the DCFS rep had called me to inform me that said file had been mailed that morning.. like why wait until things get this bad to give me my daughters file, not to mention she is still missing a picture of my daughter she kept, for whatever strange reason. The assistant,  Evelyn , she has, is by far the only reason why I kept my daughter there for so long as it was only her I trusted. I really do hope she realizes that this daycare and Paola is beneath her. She deserves to be employed in a daycare that values her as an employee for her genuine care and love for the children and what she does.

As a pediatrician who has cared for children for over a decade, I have very high standards for the care of my own children. Miss Paola is fantastic. She has taken care of my three children for over a year. She is patient and kind. Her focus is not just to care for them but also to teach them. She constantly has age appropriate stimulating activities for the kids. My kids are always engaged and happy with her. I highly recommend her daycare to all parents. She’s trustworthy, loving and professional. We tried other daycares before Miss Paola and all fell short of her care. We love Que tan lejos iras.

I would trust her implicitly with the care of my children.

Que Tan Lejos Iras, was such a great experience for my daughter and my family. They provide great care and reassurance my baby was in great hands. She's learned so much in such little time while under their care. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone in need of child care. Paola and her team are amazing, it really felt like home!
