DO not go here, no one answers the phone, no one advises your on their onboarding. I had to call and threaten to refund my application to get someone to actually work on it. If there is a system error it takes 3 weeks to get a response. That should tell you how they will treat you while attending dont do it.

The computer science teachers, especially Zhang, are so god awful I feel personally insulted that Purdue opened this dump to steal my tuition money. Don't expect anything remotely close to the quality of the Lafayette Campus if you also make the mistake of wasting time and money here.

What an amazing school ! Love the basketball camps ! The coach does an amazing job building these kids up and teaching them great basketball skills .

Terrible university. My wife applied for master's course last year. Since then it doesn't even inform about her application status. No email responses to our many emails.

Because one of Purdue's sister campuses was had too many drop outs and a low graduation rates, it was forced to merge with the calumet campus, bringing down our reputation. The professors seem more interested in telling you WHAT to think, instead of giving you the tools on HOW to think. Their website is difficult to navigate and the advisers usually discourage students from pursuing their desired career paths.

Went to the challenger with our summer camp. The children loved it. The employees there have a lot of patience with the children and show enthusiasm. The activities were engaging and the movie about the sun and laser show was amazing! Will go again and definitely recommended for field trips. They have a gift shop where you can buy astronaut food too.

After going here I dont recommend people invest their time or money here. There is always issues with money and classes...and not just with me but all my friends who were in different fields. Beware as classes often dont transfer from other Purdue locations (just the same name). Professor Dunn and Professor Ward and Professor Robinson were the only ones I had in 6 years there that cared about students and helping them. I had teachers create a harassment envrionment, and I didn't say anything for fear of not receiving my diploma because the ball gets dropped so much. Security needs to be increased. Teachers who would do things against the rules and you are stuck because if you report them...are they really going to listen to a student against a professor?... especially ten yeared ones? I didn't walk at my graduation because I wasn't proud of the school I was coming from. It was such a horrible experience I just wanted out of there and not a second spent there longer.

I've been a student here for 3 years now.

I had a B GPA and both a Core 40 and Academic Honors from high school. I didn't participate in sports or extracurriculars, and I still got in. My friend with ADHD who did well in sports got in too.

If you're not sure what you want for a major, select "undecided" on your application. I didn't know this, and so I chose Human Resources Administration out of my metaphorical hat.

You pay more if you lived out of state because Illinois or other state property taxes don't not fund the ample grants and scholarships that us Hoosiers have paid for.

My time here has made me realize that I won't thrive in an office 8 hours a day. I'm going to slowly die of a heart attack as Stanley Hudson from the Office put it, in his comparison between his and Ryan's generations.

This is what college is about. Challenging your naivete and resolve in your chosen career. Whatever high school didn't help in constructing your character, PNW professors will. What you get here is what you're willing to sacrifice intangibly, like time and energy to read the damn book.

If you think you're going to drop out, it's in your best interest to not apply until you are ready. I'm not trying to sound like a jingoist military veteran saying there's an archetype you need to mimick.

College dropouts have it harder to obtain a job than those who never went to college, according to the Bureau of Labor Stats and Adam Conover from TruTv's "Adam Ruins Everything."

In regards to parking, the early bird gets the worm. You can call the staff security to give you a jump or gas if needed. You are paying for it after all.

I guess the worst thing in my vicarious experience are my friends' grievance about their grants and FAFSA's not registering.
