So, I received a letter requesting info from me in the mail that was postmarked 3 days after it was due back. So I ran directly to the office to fix the situation, proof in hand. They blamed labor day for the mishap. Then told me all was fine just send what they asked for to their email, which I did immediately. Then received a letter saying my benefits were canceled. So ran back to the office wondering what was going on, asked should I reapply etc. Was told, again, it was fine and all should be fixed next week (3 weeks ago). So, all month I haven't received benefits or answers what so ever and I go in the office 2x a week asking. Idk what's going on there but if it's such a hassle why wouldn't they just let me reapply!? It would of been faster. Instead they just give me a food pantry just each time. Food pantries my family and I have gotten food poisoning from now 2x. Over half the food is expired last year.
Should I be filing a formal complaint to move things along? Idk please help. I've never asked for food assistance before, never needed it. I feel like I'm being punished for even trying at this point.

This place does exist! It's nice to talk to someone when you have complex questions in the paperwork filled world of medicaid. The folks there were kind and helpful, and although they can't do everything, They pointed us in the right direction.

I would give them a zero. I had a rude ads man call me back and then get an attitude with me when I was trying to explain to him about my case. Then he kept interrupting me and then he hung up on me!! Ignorant ads people the state has working for them. You ain't no better than me honey!!!HORRIBLE DEFINITELY A ZERO ON CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Had to contact the regional office to fix a mistake by this office, which is still causing problems a month later. Despite getting my brother’s paperwork in early, they did not approve it because they had set it aside and forgot about it. They admit this. And now, despite “fixing” the issue, and getting his medical card in the mail, we have still been having issues with insurance thinking he is not covered. Every prescription has been a huge mess. And on top of that, his home based services is tied to Medicaid, and this debacle caused his workers to miss a paycheck.

And just now, after the latest prescription debacle, a woman at this office hung up on my mother. Hung. Up. The manager later claimed she had been placed on hold, but she had not been told she was being put on hold, there was a click and dial tone, and the office worker did not call back. She was hung up on.

We will be filing a complaint soon.

I would rate them a zero if I could. I've been calling for weeks to reschedule a phone appointment. I never received a single call back and my health insurance was denied because of this.

This office is not that busy and I hope it stays that way. I like to get in and out. I would rather not wait hours for one reason or another and have to hear 10 people talking at once and kids crying or shouting.
