The conceal carry class was so awesome! Michele is such a great teacher! When you finish the class you will feel very confident and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking your conceal carry class or your renewal with Michele. You will not be disappointed!!

Michele is the best of the best when it comes to instructors! Along with the rest of the highly qualified and friendly instructors. The MILO RANGE is awesome and allows for real world CCL and security scenarios to be practiced and really makes you think about what you can and cannot do in a variety of real world situations. The products this place has in store are top of the line gear and apparel. They have all your self defense, security, and conceal carry needs!

Took the CCW class over 2 days! Great instructors, pace and content. Reviewed everything from legal, hands-on training, and actual practice using the MILO range - so fun! I was reluctant to approach firearms due to the lack of my own knowledge. After taking this class, I feel much more confident and comfortable. This place is excellent as the classes are very small an intimate to allow for more instructor/student training.

I heard about this place from a friend. I signed up to renew my CCL and attended the class. I was very impressed with the knowledge and experience they had to offer. The MILO virtual simulator was something I had never experienced and found it to be an eye opener in real world situations. I will frequently be returning to the academy for more training. All the instructors were excellent. Great quality items in the store also.

Love this place! A unique small business with so much to offer! Training for so many aspects of self defense and protection for individuals as well as for experienced law enforcement officers! As a female, I felt comfortable and relaxed with Michele and all of the other wonderful staff members! I was treated with respect and provided with so many options for training and protection for myself and my loved ones. They have many classes that I plan to attend to sharpen my skills and knowledge. Stop in, they have so many products for anyone wanting to enhance their shooting skills, security items for home defense, travel protection, nanny cams, and carry items and apparel!

Oscar, Ken, and Michele were phenomenal instructors and very thorough with our training! They answered all of our questions, I truly enjoyed the interactive examples we practiced with in the Milo Range, and I left feeling confident using my pistol. I can say for a fact that I now understand how to properly protect and defend myself, and I look forward to future classes with Michele! The experience exceeded my expectations.

Excellent customer service and a good selection of equipment can be found here at Protection Training Academy. CCL classes are super convenient - more that others in the area - and reasonably priced. But what sets apart this gem of a local vendor is the people and professionalism and knowledge they offer. You have to try the training aids they offer. The simulation training room is bar none. See Michelle or Oscar for info. You will not be let down. Protection Training Academy makes things easy.

I was looking for an instructor to get the certification for a CCW permit and found this place in the internet. After checking their website I decided to give it a try. Mike and Michelle were great during the classes. Both took their time to explain all the fundamentals to properly handle a firearm and how to use in a situation where you need to. Kenneth is very knowledgable of the firearms and he explained it very well. They also keep the classes small, that way they can focus individually in each student.
