This school is absolutely horrible. Their mission statement: "Creating ethical, academic, and social leaders." However, they do NOT follow this mission at ALL. Bad/misguiding teachers outnumber good, educating teachers about 4:1. The science and math department have 0 good teachers. After a hard semester, I was told by many staff members that I would be helped, and plans would be made to make sure I could pass my classes. This was not followed and I was blatantly lied to. During a conversation with the high school principal about leaving the school, I was completely disrespected, mocked, made fun of, and unheard by him. The "lottery" they have is most likely rigged, considering around 90% of kids are white, and 99% of students are from middle to high class. This school has no sense of giving students purpose and freedom of voice or expression, students' safety, students' social needs and aids, or helping young kids follow their passions and be successful. I would only recommend you send your child here if you truly want them to fail, struggle, or just completely crash due to the issues this school enforces.

I’ve never felt more supported by administration from any other school I’ve taught at. The teachers and support staff work hard to constantly improve their craft and help students succeed. PRA is a wonderful small community and the students are pretty great. 👍🏻 Highly recommend!

eh. They treat the high schooler's like they are children. If you like getting talked down to come here. The councilors, lit teachers, history teachers, and a few other teachers are cool but there are some really rotten ones. I have attended here for many years and I can say with out a doubt this is not a real high school, they treat us like kids. The student council has not power at all. The only good thing is that because its a small school everyone knows everyone. And finally there is no freedom of expression, no petitions, and they do as they please while telling us our opinions are heard. The curriculum dangerous A teacher told the class at the begging of the year "I move fast and it will seem like to much and you will want me to slow down, I wont. And if you try to do a sport you will probably drown in work and a stress". Another teacher flat out told us she has never taught this subject before and even though she messes up she blames all the other students for not knowing what to do. The councilors ARE AMAZING

Our daughter has gone to PRA since Kindergarten (she’s currently in the 6th grade) and she loves it. She has had fantastic teachers, has made lifelong friends, and has been challenged in ways that will serve her well in college and beyond. It is a college prep school, but the teachers are attentive, knowledgeable, and caring, while pushing their students to succeed. We couldn’t be happier with Prospect Ridge!

I don't have any kids in this school "yet" but i I want here today for a tour. I have toured a few charter school over the past few weeks and this one by far is the best. The admins were ready and had a plan for this tour! What an amazing job they did, I was sold on this school with in the first 10 mins.

My son has been in PRA since kindergarten he is now in second grade. My second child will be attending next year for kindergarten and I can’t say it enough PRA is the best school in Adams 12. We drive 25 minutes both ways just to be sure our child gets the education he deserves. The teachers and staff are dedicated to not only teaching academics but truly helping our community raise great children. Yesterday they had an assembly about wonder and where it can take you. That makes my heart warm knowing the staff and the great principal at PRA are invested into my child’s growing far past elementary school. Thanks for all you do! GO MINERS!!!!

For the most part teachers were good except Mrs. Frost. Admin tries to do what they call restorative justice which doesn't work and the students absolutely hate the admin.Many of the teachers are beloved, but because the admin is so bad people get in trouble for the most nonsensical things. I loved the people and most of the teachers but admin made my elementary and middle school experience an unpleasant experience.

This school has great counselors, and some fantastic teachers in the Language Arts and Social Studies area. Unfortunately the school's main focus is Math and Science, and there's only one good teacher in that entire department. Having bad teachers doesn't make it rigorous, it makes it cancerous. Nevertheless, it's not a bad school.
