We had tried another daycare before finding Primrose School in Carol Stream and are SO happy we did! Everything about this place is amazing. Teacher to child ratio is great and other staff will float around and help in rooms as needed. The kids do so many fun activities and get to go outside daily (weather pending). The staff is absolutely phenomenal. I could walk in at any time and get an update on my kid in passing in the hallway from anyone not just her teachers - the staff at the front, the sweet ladies who prepare all meals, the director, the owner, everyone makes it a point to know what’s happening in each classroom and it is such a comforting feeling to know my daughter is so well looked after. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Each and every staff member, yes is there to help educate/take care of our kids but man do they go above and beyond and truly care for and love these kids. The director (Ms. Waltz) is the warmest, kindest woman you’ll meet. She knows everything about the kids/parents/grandparents who come for pickup once in a while. 10/10 she is amazing!! Ms. Slaughter, Ms. Santiago, Ms. Lorenz (all front office staff) make it a point to make their rounds each day and it makes an impact. My daughter LOVES seeing all of them and they are such a kind, wonderful, powerhouse of a team. The work they put into every detail in the school is amazing. The front office is decorated to each upcoming holiday, they plan fun events for the kids and families, they know when each child has a birthday, they just go above and beyond and we appreciate everything they do. We have watched my daughter grow and learn so much during her short time here and are excited to see what the future holds for her! If you’re considering a daycare, setup an appointment with Primrose Carol Stream - you won’t regret it 😊

I highly recommend this wonderful place. My son was here over 2 years and that was the best experience. The owner, director, Ms. S. and teachers...are very professional. They always put your child’s need first and will do everything for your child. My David will never forget his first school. We love our Primerose family!

Me and my husband were so nervous about taking this important step for our child. I am so excited to have my child be a part of Primrose school. I can’t thank them enough of how much work and care they’ve provide. Starting from the School Director to the Kitchen team of how they came together to make sure our Child Care was absolutely perfect.

My Husband and I were so nervous to transition our daughter to Daycare (we had an in-home nanny for the first 15 months of her life). We checked out all the nearby daycares and Primrose was the ONLY one that impressed us, and they have never let us down since! Our daughter has now been at Primrose for nearly 4 months, and she absolutely LOVES it. She gets so excited when we hop in the car every day for "school" and literally runs into her teacher's arms when we get there. I get so many updates throughout the day and never have to worry. She is always so happy when we pick her up and having the best time. Thank you, Primrose!

While searching for a daycare, my primary concern was food and connection.
A daycare with kitchen that didn’t just serve canned food was what stood out to me at Primrose! Since past 6 months, I’ve seen how receptive and accommodating the owner has been of all the feedback on food options. Being a vegetarian with lactose sensitivity, many nutritious options got ruled out for our daughter. I loved how teachers connected and encouraged her to eat well, eat more!
The continuing efforts in improving the menu is what truly gives me a peace of mind sending our daughter here. Because I believe no daycare can be perfect for any parent. But the willingness to improve is what matters! I’v had lengthy discussions on food brands, fruit sources, nutrition labels and the Kitchen team and Owner cooperated and shared every detail they could!

Kranthi, very happy with all your efforts. The teachers are fabulous! Thanks a ton for opening and operating this wonderful place, my daughter spends most of her day at!

Special shout out to Miss Mia and Miss Jamie, who my child adored and dearly miss after moving up to her new class. Their bond with her made her so excited to go to school everyday and made the transition from home to Daycare easy for us!

Both of our children have attended Primrose Carol Stream with amazing experiences. The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly. The facility is clean and well organized. We have been very happy with our time here!

The leadership has very poor communication between staff and family is lacking. Staff retention is lacking. The teachers that stay and have been there a while are great and the classrooms are clean. Curriculum is followed. Be sure to bring your advocating skills if you choose to come here.

We overall had an ok experience at Primrose.
The teachers assigned to the EPS class do not have regular attendance and keep changing affecting the learning process.
Overall the facility is nice but definitely needs some improvement in the quality and regularity of the teachers being hired.
