Working with Prepped and Polished has been a gift to our whole family, especially to our daughter who is in need of targeted support during her 11th grade studies, and simultaneously needs to prepare for the SAT. Angela, in particular, could not have been a better match.

Patient and empathetic, Angela immediately broke down tougher sections of Algebra II to ensure understanding. For writing assignments, Angela again broke things into smaller tasks to lessen the anxiety around longer assignments. Most importantly, she quickly gained our daughter's trust- not an easy thing to do- which speaks volumes.

For SAT prep, Angela was able to work through areas that needed reinforcement from covid-era oversight when standards and oversight understandably dropped. Our daughter also simply did not have a strong history of taking many standardized tests, and review of the test basics and practice was crucial to her bettering her scores. Angela ensured she received plenty of both.

Going into her last trimester, we know our daughter is able to approach her work is a far more measured, organized, and stronger position than otherwise. We tried to approach this on our own- as parents we learned differently and simply were not the best conduit for this assistance. Angela, and P&P were our answer and we highly recommend them.

One of my kids has been having executive functioning tutoring sessions at Prepped and Polished for a number of months now and I can't say enough how impressed I have been with this organization and in particular his tutor Jo-Ellen.

The intake process was easy and efficient and we were able to start sessions quickly which was great. Jo-Ellen has been fabulous to work with. She does a great job teaching to my son at his level in a way that holds his interest. We get summaries after each session so we know what's going on as well as tools to use with him between sessions which is great.

I'm just so happy with the growth I've seen from my son and I directly attribute this to the work he's done with P&P!

Prepped and Polished Tutoring of Wellesley was a great help in preparing my son for his ISEE exams. Tracy was very professional and responsive and worked with me to find tutors after we got off to a late start. Lucas loved working with both Suzanne on verbal prep and Mark on math prep. He came home excited to work on his homework and found them both extremely warm and engaging. The weekly progress reports gave great detail regarding what was covered, what should be a focus, and assignments for the following session. Their guidance was instrumental in helping him feel prepared and he was thrilled to receive 4 acceptances and 1 wait list from his five school applications. Highly recommended.

We work with Megan. She has been a great tutor. She helped my son get organized in writing and develop solid skills. She was very flexible when we needed to incorporate certain material. She also gave us suggestions about navigating the school system and finding ways to get what we needed for our son. We also found it easy to reschedule or find different times when we needed it. It is very helpful that Megan teaches in school and has a good experience dealing with kids and also knows the requirements of the school system.

All 3 of my children have used Prepped and Polished services. Specifically, tutoring with Josh and Michelle. Josh focused on math with my kids and their performance in school and on standardized tests dramatically improved. Michelle focused on English with my daughter. Her vocabulary has expanded. Most importantly, Josh and Michelle made the sessions fun and engaging for my kids. They understood they are teens and met them there vs having unrealistic expectations. My 16 yr old schedules his own sessions with Josh and is proactive in seeking his help.
