Bree is amazing. She is very talented in braiding. She's very professional, neat and kind. The greatest thing is that she is a fast braider. This is the first time in years I haven't had to sit for 8-10 hrs to get my braids. Thx Bree your the best.

I wanted a silk press and trim. Everything was fine until the end. My trim turned into a cut and my hair is so uneven.I wasn’t told when I made my appointment that they only took cash. I had to leave and find an atm to pay.

Former student here. The education is alright. You get what you pay for.

My biggest concern was the lack of cleanliness, product (both styling and shampoos), and an overly casual environment. For example, the stations (especially the drawers) are so gross! They have hair, dirty brushes, and dust all over them. I don't even know when the last time they were cleaned was! Nobody knew what products we had in stock which became problematic especially when doing clients. The color and styling products were cheap and sometimes expired. Sometimes you couldn't trust the bottles because they would get repurposed without any label or indication! As for color, there weren't semi or demi-permanent options, and most of the time, nobody knew if the shade of color you were looking for was even available! There isn't a specific color line for consistency. It's super chaotic especially when remixing.

As for the casualness, most students showed up whenever they felt like it and just sat on their phones for 2 hours straight and goofed off. They wouldn't get written up or anything so it was just an accepted practice. There was lack of passion from both the staff as well as students. I mean what's the point of coming in everyday to learn for 6 hours if your peer who didn't care to show up on time (much less study or practice anything) was being passed too? Even if you were the most motivated student, eventually those bad habits would rub off on you due to the school's culture.

As for the educational program, it was alright. You get some worksheets and follow along with a standardized textbook. You get tested every week and the lesson plans were good. You'd get an hour long lunch and the students are great to get along with! Everyone gets along well.

As for practicals, you'd get a worksheet that you had to complete every month full of state board prep. As for working on client's, almost all of them only want a trim, silk press and root touch up. So if you want to practice trendy haircuts, clipper cuts and blonding/vivids, well that's too bad. Nobody comes in for that unless you bring in your own people. The client's who do come in can be quite rude and condescending. (not all though)

Despite everything, you get an education that you payed for and it is entirely up to you to make sure you get the most out of it. I wrote this review not out of malice, but instead to shed light on some things that can improve that way this school can be more successful. It is definitely more affordable than some of the neighboring cosmo schools.

The level of unprofessionalism is crazy, I think the cost is a bit steep, a lot of changes need to be made. I do feel like at times I am belittle when spoken to or condescended. The owner scheduled me for a 10a appt didn't arrive to the shop to unlock the doors til 1050am no courtesy!. To say the least this is a relational business and I can't see myself coming back for a while.
