Karen was a wonderful tutor for our son Edward during an emergency period of EOTAS. She really met him where he was with different elements of his learning and helped start to address the very significant gaps arising from the poor educational standard at his previous SEN school, slowly building his confidence and self-belief. Her gentle but determined style helped him start his recovery from a period of school trauma and help ease his anxiety.

Karen adapted her approach to suit, motivate and inspire him. We are very grateful for her thoughtful, diligent and patient work with him, the impact of her skilled teaching on him is clear. We all miss her and wish her all the very best for the future.

Powertutors overcharge their customers and underpay tutors, taking a huge amount of commission for the hard work the tutors put in. They don't necessarily add a huge amount of value - it is often better to work with a tutor directly. Often they have been seen matching tutors to students in subjects where the tutor is not an expert.

I booked a paid trial for my son which did not go well as he could not understand anything due to accent and communication issues.I informed them staff is not helpful at all any ways I paid .My advice is dont book paid trials instead ask for free video consultation if they agree Totally Rip off and overpriced.

What an amazing find! I can’t recommend them highly enough. I needed a last minute tutor to help my son prepare for a 10+ entrance exam. I found Powertutors online, such a helpful and friendly service, and within 24 hours they had found me a tutor who they thought would be a good match.

We have been so happy with the whole process and professionalism at power tutors. They are very adaptable and understanding happy and accommodating to work with you on what your child’s needs are - we have had daily tutoring, after school tutoring and one to one. We’ve had three separate tutors and all have been to a high level standard. My daughter has had them now over a year and has responded really well - the one to one tutoring is also excellent. My daughters confidence has improved and she has learnt lots. They follow the curricular so it’s all topics that should be covered. A great company very efficient and professional would highly recommend.

I have found Powertutors to be very efficient and professional. I was impressed with the process and questions asked to try and find the correct tutor for my son and they seem to be a good match.
