I first visited Pilot Proficiency a little over a month ago. It was super easy to get started and a lot of fun to use! I’m just starting out in my aviation journey, but I will be sure to come back! I had a great instructor, and we covered a lot in just one session. It really takes the pressure off to be able to practice maneuvers in the simulator so I can be more confident during time spent in the air. Highly recommend.

I'm a student pilot, and have found Pilot Proficiency to be a great resource between lessons. I can practice the maneuvers that are challenges so that I can log my hours as quickly as possible without having to pay for plane and instructor time. Even with last-minute reservations, John has been very responsive - I found out that I could get off work early at around 3:00 and was able to reserve the simulator for 4:00 thanks to John's quick response. If you're a student pilot, you'll really appreciate the convenience and cost-effectiveness of practicing using the Pilot Proficiency simulator.

I flew the sim in the old school steam gauge mode. Converting from the G1000 mode was straightforward. I love the fact that I can book time when it’s best for me, not based on owner availability. And I love the fact that the simulator flies like a real airplane- smooth control movements and not the jerky movements I’ve experienced in other sims. I do a lot of long cross country flights, and plan to fly the approaches to my destinations in the sim first. I think this is a great service, well thought out. My first visit was a great experience.

This was my first visit to Pilot Proficiency and first time practicing with a simulator. From start to finish I had a fantastic experience! The staff was extremely knowledgeable in explaining what Pilot Proficiency has to offer and how the simulator itself works. I can’t wait to come back for some extended practice time!!!

I just went to Pilot Proficiency for the first time. Great experience and a very high quality simulator. I fly with a 430 and the panel behaves exactly like it would in real life. I would highly recommend Pilot Proficiency to remain instrument proficient and current.

An excellent resource at a very reasonable rate for pilots to maintain or improve instrument proficiency. Love that it’s available 24/7. Sim is high quality and very easy to set up and change flight conditions or location.

The sim is fantastic. Both G1000 and conventional panels are available. No staff on site, everything is automated. The control of the sim feels so real. The one in my flight school is not even close to this one. Great choice for instrument practice.
