Unorganized and unprofessional. I wouldn't give them a star but couldn't leave a review without giving one. 7/30 (Tuesday) I made it the friendship house at about 11:55 and I was told the pantry was getting ready to close so they weren't able to provide food for me and my family and others waiting, I was told to come back 7/31 (Wednesday) at 9am , when I arrived this morning there was sign on the door saying food pantry close, I noticed a homeless man standing outside and he informed me and my family that the food pantry was only open for 20 minutes and they had closed it . Imagine walking in the rain with children and making it there just for someone to tell you they were only open for 20 minutes. Better communication is what's needed when you're dealing with citizens or just anyone because it's unfortunate that my experience was horrible.

A couple years ago (2016) the Friendship House was Great!! They helped me pay a deposit on my apartment a pay first months rent. This year (2018) all you get are recordings and NO ONE returns your calls! I had to move out of my apartment and almost became homeless. I finally found a place to stay!!

I'm temporarily homebound, so I called for Meals on Wheels. A couple of days later, a big bag of food was delivered. Such a great service!

It was a great help for a friend of mine that had hearing problem and hopefully the hearing aids he get will help cuz he always ends up with some very poorly quality made ones he's 70 years old and God made the best ones so I told him it's time to get the best ones he worked all his life. So I am praying for him that they will get the one that will work best for him. They gave him a sample 141 air and he said it was amazing but was $5,100 and he's not even signed up for Medicaid. So pray please that they can get that all settled so that I'll rub pocket will be under $1,000 thank you very much God bless you

We were there for a service project. FH provides vital services to underprivileged individuals. Food bank, latch key, and other services. We will continue to support their mission and service.

I dont know about there other programs but if you are close to becoming homeless, you need to contact someone else. They are on a referral basis and so you have to call salvation army or something first.
