Lara is an excellent math tutor. Our 6th grader was struggling in honors math and she helped her tremendously. Lara worked with her on homework and assignments from class plus new concepts that she was just learning. Virtual tutoring was super easy and convenient with after school appointments. Lara connected well with our daughter, was patient and engaging, and easy to work with as a parent too. Very highly recommend!

We love Peak Tutoring and Lara! My daughter had sessions with her last summer and again this summer to review math problems and to make sure she is all good to go for the next grade level.
The sessions are on zoom, so they are very convenient from any location. She is able to show / share a "whiteboard" on the screen as if it was at school, so my daughter could easily follow along.

Lara is great to work with, and after each lesson she emailed me to let me know what they covered. She also gives out homework (if you prefer) after each session for the child to practice. Most importantly, my daughter loves working with Lara and looks forward to her tutoring sessions. She greatly improved her math skills after working with Lara last summer, and this summer we just did a review to get going for the school year.

I definitely recommend working with Lara whether you need consistent / weekly help for your child or just a few lessons to catch up on a subject or review certain lessons. Definitely 5 star in every area!

Lara is amazing. She helped my son prepare for the SAT's and made him accountable for his efforts. He had 9 online sessions with her (7 for the first semester of his junior year and 2 in May, right before the June 2023 SAT test). Because of her help and vast knowledge of SAT preparation, he scored in the 99th percentile! Now, as a rising senior, he will not have to stress out about the SAT and just focus on enjoying his senior year! I would definitely recommend her services!

My son started working with Lara to help his reading. It has been great, his reading fluency and comprehension has improved since starting with her. She has also helped him with his sight words and just being a more confident reader. After each session she provides an email recap of what was covered and what they will work on the following week. I would definitely recommend Lara to anyone looking for a tutor.
