As far as payroll goes, I guess it does what I need it to do. Custom service level 1 is great, but anything above that is nonsense. I had to call 30 times before a manager was able to speak to me. The software is difficult to use.
I was writing this review while waiting for a manager, it's been over 55 minutes and they still have me on hold, horrible.

*Update: it's been 1:20 minutes and they still have me on hold.

Recommend finding someone else. Their customer support is as bad as it gets. They are great if you have no issues but if you have an issue good luck. We finally left them and that is really when they show their true colors and make it impossible to get data or work with them even if you pay extra for it.

If I could give negative stars, I would! Their customer service is atrocious. You can't get ahold of anyone unless it’s through chat and they’re usually rude and unhelpful. Their response to everything is "watch the video in the help center."
I’ve sent my account representative several emails asking for help, I’ve called and left a message and even went as far as trying to contact him on LinkedIn. I also had the chat rep reach out to him and still no response, except for an automated email.

Their onboarding tool is extremely difficult for new employees to use. None of my new hires have been able to get into Paylocity. We reset the password and they are supposed to send a one-time password via text or email. However, that message is never received regardless of which method we choose (they’ll tell you to check the spam, but it isn’t there). Templates and forms are also a nightmare to create as you're unable to preview them until they're created/published. I can't say a single positive thing about Paylocity.

Worse app ever. Every Friday I can count on at least 5 employees not being able to get into Paylocity. There are means to reset your password and they are supposed to send a one time password via text or email. However, that message will never be received regardless of which method that you choose. I wont have to worry about it much longer. I only have a few employees that can still log in. The rest have given up. After the last few get locked out, I won't have to worry about it anymore. Worse App ever!!!

This company does not respect email address owners when one of their clients enters the wrong email address. I have been receiving messages from Paylocity from a donotreply address with no method whatsoever for removing my address from their list. My only recourse is to flag Paylocity emails as spam and block this company's intrusive emails. Perhaps they will consider adding a link so that people who are incorrectly added to their system can opt out. Until then, I have nothing good to say about this company.

This company is a sinking ship! I regret doing business with them. We are logged out and locked out of the app frequently and you have to contact paylocity to get back in, but they don’t answer the phone. They have been named in several lawsuits lately. They are have laid off 60% of their staff to recoup their losses and are grossly inflating their revenue reports. This is an awful company to do business with and an even worse company to invest in and work for.

God help you if you make a mistake. These guys do not care about their cleints unless they shut up and pay them. Have a problem or question and they will punish you for being their customer.
