They don’t have the day passes anymore which is very impractical because you need to pay for the membership to be able to get in.

Pros: neighborhood YMCA, meet neighbors, swim coaches Ms Emily and Ruben are excellent. Cons: aquatics program with high number of children at times up to 8 to one instructor for all ages including toddlers (per Aquatics director can allow up to 10). Inconsistent swim instruction (e.g. How to safely enter/exit pool). Swim instructors can change weekly (expect Emily/Ruben who show up regularly). Locker rooms are gross especially since the floor is muddy and hair is everywhere. One instructor allows swimmers to swim to end of pool out of reach. Unclear leadership despite having aquatics director. Overall will not be returning for any swim programming after the fall.

This place is an absolute joke. I’ve been a member for over a year, but it is no longer worth it. Where to even begin? Let’s start with today: I swipe my card and head to the locker room. I get called back to the desk where they tell me my membership hasn’t been paid since April (it’s my husband’s debit card) and I owe $87. Okay, that’s super odd that no one has said anything to me the several times I’ve been since then, but I tell them I’ll pay it with the card on file. They can’t do that- they physically need a card. I didn’t bring my wallet, only my membership card. They refuse to let me enter, just this once, until I can bring the debit card. I was on my lunch break and wouldn’t have time to bike home and return with it. Very unprofessional and not understanding of them! Secondly, the pool and jacuzzi are often closed without warning. I get that this is a budget friendly place, but it’s hard to justify the cost when I can’t even access the amenities. And lastly, the showers and bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. Clumps of hair linger in almost every drain and sink- gross!

I would’ve given this place 5 stars but after my daughter told me how she was treated by the staff in summer camp never again !!! If you enroll your kids make sure you ask them everyday how camp is and the staff. My daughter was happy to go for a while then noticed after a while a change she didn’t want to go wasn’t happy. Staff apparently only pay attention to certain kids and the rest the don’t really interact with or mistreat!! I will definitely be reporting this facility we pay way too much money for our kids to be mistreated at a camp. I would look elsewhere !!!

As a kid, this place is great! Summer camp is enjoyable and the staff is very kind to everyone. They do tend to be a little ignorant towards dangerous child behavior, but overall, camp has given me such a great experience! I've gone to summer camp for 4 years, and I've never had a problem.

I have been coming here for over a year , everytime I will have an issue I will let Minerva know and she will kindly address it or every time I had an issue with my membership I was referred to Gerald and he will help . But today I was in sauna and someone approached me rudely telling me I couldn’t be there with regular clothing , he talked to me with an attitude telling me “well I work here and I’m reinforcing the rules “ he then proceeded to making me feel threaten by saying he was calling the managers . I kept telling him okay and putting my headphones back on and he just kept going and going on how I couldn’t be there he then called a life guard too to tell me that that was the rule mind you every day that sauna has people with regular clothing an has never been an issue . If it’s one of the rules it’s fine but the way he talked to me was unacceptable! I in no way was bothering him or in his personal space and the least he could have done was let me enjoy my 2 minutes there I had left on my timer . If he’s a lifeguard I will not get swimming classes for my children or let them go in there because he has POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and I don’t want my children going through that . I chose this gym because my children love the daycare and the staff but with workers like this is what upsets me .

Customer service not professional, rude & unfriendly. Basket ball court always packed with high school kids, not safe for younger kids to play ball even though is "open gym" sometimes. This was the reason we got a membership there so my 3 kids can play ball at the basketball court whenever we have some free time (that is the only place to play if you are not registered for some type of class), trying to get them to stay active and feel safe indoors. Can't even use the basket ball court most of the time because is always being used for some sort of class they have scheduled, we were told that we couldn't be there because of the class being conducted, we were told to leave. Membership is not worth it here for walk-ins to bring kids under 10 to run and play ball.

I enjoy going here regularly. I have a three month old daughter who can stay at the childcare center there, and the women who work there are so kind and giving. Also I love the diversity of age and different people that attend this YMCA- it makes for a lot of really interesting and fun conversations. Looking forward to getting into the pool and the fitness classes.
