Well-= I've confirmed some of the stories I have heard about this place. If you are a man going through a divorce; you will be required to do mediation. This place is a fairly cheap option if you are trying to avoid litigation. Beware- the mediators at this place seem to have a deep dislike of all things masculine. Be prepared to to be humiliated and treated like a second class citizen no matter what the circumstance is.

Awful I wish I could think of one good thing to say about my experience! A woman being parent shamed the very first class for her child being “exposed to chucky” (from the movie) I mean -during October -don’t take your kiddo into Walgreens! & certainly if don’t mention it unless you want to be made to feel like a failure as a parent, embarrassed & shamed. I felt really bad for this woman, just trying to have a real conversation about Parenting. Don’t do that at the Parent Place! I ended up going through the North American Learning Institute a dcfs & state certified parenting class. 16hrs instead of 16 WEEKS They were extremely helpful working with your schedule. You can even check if your county is accepted if need be- it was a weight off of my shoulders

My letter in the mail said be here at 430pm to do an assessment. I get here before 430 and a flakey staff member who ever she is just lets me in. While she's talking on her phone she says mike will be here soon. Walks off and continues to talk on the phone. I am so lost on what's going on. Another staff member walks in and says nothing. Almost 5pm now and I've done no assessment, have no idea what's going on and very aggravated.

I came here for a court ordered parenting class (yeah, I know... yay right?!) But the class was super informative. The teacher took on some pretty heavy subjects and kept them light hearted without losing the seriousness of the matter. I traveled an hour because they had a Saturday class and it was well worth the trip

A little difficult to get an appointment time but they usually try to accommodate if available. Their price is a bit high. It's hard to reach anyone after hours.
