Jesse Kreb’s 2-day Navigation Course was absolutely fantastic! This was my third course with Jesse. Each time she does not disappoint. She is an engaging, highly knowledgeable, and patient instructor whose format brings you hands on experience that not only provides you with life-long survival skills but is also highly entertaining. Running around in the woods of Vermont while challenging myself with her self-designed orienteering course was simultaneously thrilling and educational. I feel confident that I will use these skills in future backpacking trips as I navigate and explore remote, off trail destinations. Jesse provides a truly 5-star experience!

Jessie equips you with the kind of skills that can make the difference between living to tell a great story and never making it home again. She’s one of the best teachers I’ve ever studied with. She’s got a phenomenal body of knowledge at her fingertips and she adapts her teaching style to reach each student. She presumes confidence and believes that every student can excel at all the techniques—I felt nothing but encouragement and strength, even with the toughest stuff. She also draws on her background in wilderness therapy to make everyone feel at home in her class. I chose her school above any other for me and my daughter because she strips away all the silly, misinformed macho business from wildernesses survival and makes it accessible for women and girls. Even though I’d studied wilderness survival in the past I learned a *ton* of new material about how to prep and what to do if things suddenly go bad (it can happen easier than most people think!). If you’re a hiker, biker, trail runner, fisher, hunter, camper, road tripper or live in a disaster-prone area this class is essential. Think of it as a personal-protection course with a world-class pro. Bonus: getting to hang around a cozy campfire, learning from and sharing with like-minded people. Oh, and hearing the inside scoop on Alone! Who knew survival skills could be so much fun? 🤩 🔥 🏕️

Jessie and her class were EVERYTHING I was looking for and more in terms of an informative and empowering survival course for women. Her presence alone is inspiring and supportive in just the right ways, and she’s so clear and precise in her communication. I left feeling like I’d learned SO much in a practical sense, and like I could take care of myself in difficult situations - which was my goal going into the class. I so very highly recommend experiencing Jessie and her guidance; she is doing what she loves and is meant to do through her OWLS program, and it’s a gift to be a part of it.

Jessies class was sooo useful and fun to attend. It was great meeting other woman who share a passion for the outdoors. Jessie went above and beyond bringing snacks and making sure we were all comfortable. The skills we learned could literally be life changing if we end up in a rough situation. Highly recommend the course and I am looking forward to taking more courses in the future!

The quality of education taught through stories and real life practice cannot be beat! I feel more secure in my own abilities if the worst happens when I’m hiking, backpacking, or even exploring the wilderness with a car. Highly recommend Jessie for her amazing teaching style!

I took two of Jessie's courses in Vermont. They were incredible, her skills are amazing and she is a gifted teacher. She is passionate, caring and personable. Her approach of using stories to teach makes the experience very entertaining. This was a life changing experience for me. To be in the company of amazing women and feel I found a community of likeminded adventurous people. This is truly a gem. Book a class now, you will be so glad you did. I will be back for many more courses.

Jessie has found her life's calling, and it shows. Her subject matter expertise, passion for teaching, and her mission to empower other women combine to make Jessie an incredibly impactful teacher. Whatever your skill level, you will find her patient and approachable. She draws on her many years of experience to use real stories to demonstrate concepts, and her enthusiasm will reel you in like you were lasso'ed with a Canadian jam (a knot you didn't know you needed - and she'll tell you why).

I throughly enjoyed Jessie’s class! The 1-day class was filled with an incredible amount of information, lessons, stories, demonstrations, hands-on, laughter, goodies and confidence building. I have survived and endured many events in my life and now on a mission to learn different survival skills geared more towards independence and self-sufficiency while out exploring Mother nature. I can’t wait to get out there to practice and hone these new skills!

THANK YOU JESSIE!! I plan to take more of your courses here in VT but also in MT!
