Natalie has been a brilliant maths tutor to our daughter over this academic year. Natalie has a very calm, warm manner and takes time to plan engaging and well-paced lessons. Natalie took time to set manageable homework tasks and gave helpful feedback on my daughter’s progress and areas to focus on. My daughter never complained about logging in to online lessons with Natalie and definitely benefitted from Natalie’s patience and interactive ideas. Natalie’s experience as a class teacher meant that I was confident that the lessons were focussed on the curriculum yet adapted to an appropriate level. I would definitely recommend Natalie!

After being advised by a local primary school teacher in the North West of the UK, I contacted Owl Tutors for their services for my daughter as she had secondary school examinations. From the offset, it was clear that each of our goals were in synergy as they dealt with Gabrielle as an individual with her specific needs. They quickly matched her up with a tutor who, in a short period of time got my daughter up to the required standard to pass all 3 of her examinations. We came to Owl tutors asking a lot and they delivered in everyway possible. We had a really positive experience working with Owl Tutors. Our Daughter is attending a state primary school and we wanted to give her a little extra support to prepare for entrance exams at a couple of really nice, high performing, over subscribed, academically selective schools.

The team at Owl Tutors were super responsive and after understanding our request suggested a tutor for us. We had a free trial lesson and it was clear that tutor Rosie was really good. Friendly, engaging, encouraging, all the things you want from a tutor. We signed up with Rosie and had a regular weekly on-line lesson from around June/July through to November. Each lesson was followed up with homework which was reviewed at the start of the next lesson. With her experience Rosie determined that Maths was a focus area with a bit of English and verbal and non-verbal reasoning. She was flexible with the dates and times to fit around holidays and other commitments. Billing from Owl Tutors was straight forward and easy.

The entrance exam days came and went without any stress and I'm really pleased to say we got offers from both schools. The hard part now is to decide which offer to take!
