My daughter who is finishing middle school has been working with Stella for the last four months. She has said that Stella is able to reinforce the math that she’s learning in school that she’s able to retain and understand it much better. My daughter truly appreciates Stella’s ability to teach in a manner which she finds easy to absorb. She’s always so surprised how quickly her two hour sessions go because she enjoys working with Stella. It is a gift when you come across a teacher / tutor that has the ability to make a difference in a student’s ability to learn and excel! I know we have found that in Stella. We definitely plan on continuing working with Stella!

I really recommend this academy. As far as I know, classes are conducted online and offline, and short-term and long-term projects are conducted, focusing on insufficient subjects. David seems to know what is lacking through counseling and how long it will take, and he treats students and their parents honestly and diligently. Later, I will choose this academy again when my children need it.

I was taught SAT Reading and Writing by Mr. Saehoon several years ago at an academy in Korea. These two subjects were definitely ones that I struggled the most with for SAT, but I must say that one summer studying with Mr. Saehoon increased my confidence for these subjects like never before. One thing that I remember about him is that every question that I got incorrect in our daily SAT mock exams, he would make sure to go over it with full clarity, no matter how long it took for me to understand and regardless of whether the other students got it correct or not. He is definitely one of the teachers that I still am thankful for many years later for helping me in my journey to getting into my dream university in Singapore. I’m glad to see that he has opened up his own academy now, and I am certain that any student attending this will see its positive results in their exam scores.

I definitely recommend Outside the Box academy for other students as I had past experiences with the tutor David and he is an exceptional teacher and you won't be disappointed. David helped me go from a C and B student to an all A student since working with David and I look up to him with high regard. David deeply cares about his students and treats everyone with kindness and respect. Outside the Box Academy has a nurturing and impactful curriculum and the program offers a wide variety of different topics.
