Our Village Children's Academy is amazing. You can truly tell the staff is a family.
Both my daughters go here and light up when they see the teachers. The administration constantly makes sure the parents have resources for extracurricular activities AT the school, it's such a simple but amazing concept. From music classes, zumba, sports, etc. The school is often overdone with decorations (in the best way) and all the kids love it.
We constantly receive pictures throughout the day of each of our daughters. And every week we are having to bring full handfuls of new art projects.
We are very blessed to find this school, as I have seen such a positive change in my oldest daughter in the 6 months she has been attending.

OVCA has been an amazing school for our son. They are caring, attentive and put great effort into planning activities and education for the kids at all ages. We’ll soon have another little one starting daycare and we wouldn’t want to take them anywhere else!! Highly recommend.

We have three children and have been with OVCA since February 2020. My oldest started when he was 2 and is thriving in Kindergarten this year, and my 3 yr old and 1 yr old are still there currently. We have been so thankful to have found such a great place for our children and would recommend OVCA to anyone! The teachers have been wonderful and our kids always are happy at drop off & pick up.

Our Village is my daughter's first experience with attending daycare and I couldn't be happier! I was worried that after being with me for 18 months she would have a difficult time adjusting to daycare. But, she's excited to get ready for "school" every day and there's no crying or bribing her to enter.

When my son attended daycare (at a different location) each drop off was a struggle - he would cry and run after me. This has never happened at Our Village.

The teachers are warm and welcoming. Drop off and pick up are actually enjoyable and I feel confident leaving my child in their care.

…This daycare center is absolutely beautiful. My oldest son attended from age 3-5 and learned so much! Each day/ week there is dancing, singing, science experiments, reading, writing, Zumba class.

My youngest son is now 3 and has attended since he was 10 months old. He loves coming to preschool here.

We weathered part of the COVID storm with this group of wonderful teachers. At one point we experienced some staff turn-over during the peak of the pandemic, however, the communication and cleanliness standards during that time and now have been excellent throughout.

That was a challenging time to navigate with being short staffed, people calling out or not showing up all together and the staff pulled through and always put the kids first and communicated well. Now their team is solid as a rock and it’s been the way for a long time since that chapter of the COVID experience.

Our village children’s academy has become much more like an extension of our home and the teachers are more like extended family & friends to us.

Every member of staff works hard to make the center a wonderful place to be and a safe, welcoming environment for the babies and children to learn and to grow in.

The staff are all very kind and caring and they plan out the weeks curriculum & activities thoughtfully (this is shared weekly via the bright-wheel app).

My children have produced wonderful artwork here as well as completing in class science experiments, cultural studies with live Spanish flamenco dancers, seasonal activities, visits from the Zoo, and exciting parent-teacher potlucks/ gatherings and more.

My son’s vocabulary has come on in leaps and bounds - for example, with Halloween upon us, just the other day my 3yo son told me “witches are fiction Mom”, - I don’t think I knew the words fiction/ non-fiction until elementary school! I thought this was brilliant 😄

….There are tons of fun activities to look forward to throughout the year as well as week-to-week activities that bring spirit into the classrooms and hallways and make early mornings that bit easier.

The preschool graduation for my oldest son was a tear jerker, the kids were dancing, counting and singing in English, Spanish, Italian and French!

The center is bright, colorful, and welcoming with fresh artwork week to week that the kids are proud of. As well as seasonally themed decorations in the lobby throughout the year.

You never miss a beat with updates throughout the day with photos and kudos for things our babies/ children accomplish in class.

This level of communication made the time away from my children easier for me and I so appreciate it from all the teachers who pour into my kids and the communication they keep with us parents.

And, if there’s ever an incident or injury (which are few and far between), the staff are prompt to alert you via your preferred method of communication. I can’t rate this school high enough, if there was an option for 10 stars I’d give it to them.
