The staff lack the ability to watch your child at the after school program please by all means do not take your child here the staff are irresponsible and lack the knowledge to watch any child that steps foot in the building and are very rude and like to charge your account without your permission such a scam!!!!!

I have a valid membership at Peru / Mendota YMCA for years (a decade?) I came today with a friend who's a member... they wouldn't let me in and wanted me to pay $15. Driving to Peru now.

The place looks very nice, though I have not been inside the outdoors appears to be well kept and the children do sound like they enjoy their time outdoors, can't help but hear them as I visit an acquaintance near there and they remind me of my worry free days as a child. 👍

Not gonna lie yes its a little out dated but for how old this building is? They do a good job keeping it up to date. Can't imagine how hard it is on the up keep. Great friendly staff, kid safe, weight room could always be bigger even though it is adequate to my needs. You can swim play basket ball, racketball, they provide classes. Been going for years and have enjoyed it.

Thank God for this place. I always walk out feeling better than when I walked in. The classes are challenging and the instructors are all great. It is a great place, clean and really friendly staff. I love my Ottawa YMCA. It's made me a stronger and happier woman.

This building charged my account after I called and cancled then doubled the bill and demanded me to pay it, it is theyrw fault and I am definitley taking them to court if i have to
